Yes, but its not the original GoseiRed and GoseiPink fighting them. Its Marvelous and Ahim.

You see what actually happened is I completely missed them on nerefir's list some how. Sorry 'bout that. Don't remember seeing HurricaneYellow now I think about it though.

Nerefir already answered but yeah he does. Surprisingly, he was extremely competent as Battle Kenya and really kicked some ass (albeit briefly). Maybe they didn't want to make one of Ohba's characters seem exceedingly goofy. Come to think it though, his usual Don antics were extremely toned down in all his Gokai Changes. That or I was too busy ogling over Gavan Bootleg to notice. Also Luka transformed in HurricaneYellow. Since Don got to do the serious ass kicking, Luka is the one who gets the goofy antics; she spends most of that fight just smashing the multitude of elder siblings with the Quake Hammer, in a watch-a-mole fashion.

All right fair enough HM, but seeing as all the Sentais I've seen have been from the past 7 years, where having at least one member of the team be "the shits and giggles even in battle" character is the norm, for me this was a first. I have no problem with comedy in Sentai, but it was a nice change of pace since I felt like every member was competent. Maybe it was only because they had such limited screen time, and in the actual show they will all be crazy goofballs, and if that happens I'll be okay with it.

Um nothing too grand, seeing as they didn't use a stock footage sequence or anything. The main five just did Gokai Slash together with Gai who used a grounded version of Gokai Shooting star. It was a bit underwhelming, but I just appreciated that they remembered Gai has finishers outside of Gold Mode, and that he finally got in on a team attack.

Just saw this today, and I have to say it was pretty good. It could have benefited from being a bit longer, it was only an hour, but it was fun nonetheless. Highlights for me...
[HIDE] -When Gavan first tries to arrest the crew, Don and Ahim bring up the fact that the Dekarangers cleared them of their charges. I really appreciated that the writers remembered that happen. Also Gavan just give no fucks about that and then kicks the teams ass, which was pretty awesome.
-Any time Ohba was on the screen with himself, some type of awesomeness or hilarity ensued.
-The scene where they break into the Makku Space Prison is hilarious. There isn't a lot of talking, but the cast plays off each other so well by this point, that they didn't need to. Also Gai looked like he was humming the Mission Impossible tune in head the whole time.
-There where more guest villains that I thought. Including Bae! I know he got some hate during Geki, but I always enjoyed him, and seeing him here was a nice surprise.
-Another moment where I appreciated the writers for doing there homework is when Joe and Gai hold off a horde of Goumin together so the others can continue on. Joe turns into DenjiBlue, for obvious reasons, but to match Denjiman's whole boxing thing, Gai turns into Go-onGold. I was super happy they remembered that Gold was a boxer. Great little fan-service tidbit there.
-Marv's fight against Gavan Bootleg. Marv gets a ton of boss scenes in this movie, but this was my favorite. Plus it transitions really well into that scene where they all blow wholes through the various levels of the prison, which as stated earlier was epic.
-Silver Charge! I found this funny, because the actual GalleonBuster toy doesn't say Silver Charge right? Looks like Toei has lincense to release a special edition one now.
-The Go-busters. From Red's entrance on his bike like a boss, to the coolest way I've ever seen a Sentai team come together, to the end where they all hold Basco at knife point, these guys mean business. While I can't speak for their civilian personalities, it's nice to have a team who in battle is serious and everyone knows their ****. No goofiness from these guys, at least for now (I'm thinking that may be relegated to the Buddyroids). Also, they don't just pull **** out of thin air! Well the do technically, but to summon their side arms, they touch their left shoulder pads, and the knife materializes a-la a similar looking means as Fourze's modules. A great touch. Another great touch is that when using their superpowers (both Red and Blue do, maybe Yellow did, to be honest I don't know what it is) they have Matrix numbers that flash across the colored part of their visors. It was sweet. Looking forward to this show.
-They played the Gavan theme during the team up fight! And not like they've been doing during the Sentai tribute episodes, it was the actual theme, lyrics and all.
-No Gold Mode! And they actually include Gai in a Final Wave! I've been waiting for that forever.
- The end where all the Ohbas henshin together. They don't fight any thing, it's just for pure fan service. There is a voice that comes out of the sky (a Gavan reference?) and asks them to do it this one time. It was so funny and awesome.

Edit: Forgot to mention that they had another Super Hero Taisen promo before hand. Nothing revealing, we just hear Fouze say, "Super Sentai lets do this man-to-man!" Then we get the scene where all the Sentai members group up for their Kamikaze attack, followed by the Let's Go Kamen Rider scene where all the Riders are together. Then kanji I couldn't read flashed on the screen and the photoshopped picture at the end included the Go-busters this time.
First off, thank you for jotting this down. Makes me excited to see this film. From what you said, it sounds like a good film.
Second, your comments about the movie reminds me about the Shinkenger movie:
Seriously, length should never be an indicator about how good a movie is. For anyone who still thinks that, the Three Stooges, Tom & Jerry, the Looney Tunes, and Disney's crew (no group name I know of) say hi. :laugh: No disrespect to any of the longer films (I love 199 Heroes), but I think Sentai works better in short form.
