I think the worst AVGN review is his Independence Day review, but even if it is, it isn't a terrible review. It was meh.

I really started watching him and Nostalgia Critic recently...and I gotta say: Even if it's a video that doesn't interst me all that much, I find myself interested in hearing what the Nerd has to say.

I prefer the Nerd over the Nostalgia Critic.

His AVGN videos in particular? Or James himself? The AVGN videos are meant to overexaggerated and overbearing, that's the whole gimmick with the character. However, he takes on almost a completely different tone in his movie reviews, top 10s and other videos that go beyond the AVGN.

AVGN, never really watched anything of his actual self.

I have heard he is actually quite a nice guy and a good sport.

Haha, good point, but if you want to go one worse, Linkara 4th wall whatever guy is so grating I wanna deafen myself.

Dunno why I hate most of these type of online vbloggers, it's a strange type of hate. I think it's more of a How/Why are you popular? That said, I have been meaning for quite a long time to actually record my own :laugh:

With AVGN it was basically viral. He put videos on YouTube to amuse his friends and suddenly he had millions of views.

Nostalgia Critic put a lot of effort into cross-promoting himself and viral growth early on, culminating in Channel Awesome.

Either way, the guys basically worked for it-- either through making great content, or working really hard to promote pretty-good content.
