Is Lost Galaxy Popular?

Given LG's liberated setting in space, PR's catergorization as science-fiction, and the ambiguity with the nature of the Rangers' powers and the lost galaxy itself, it was much easier than normal to use Sentai in a very different way without it screwing it over. To say it ripped off Gingaman is a narrow-minded lie, as there were plenty of episodes in between that were original

And, no, Kendrix DID die, her spirit was solidified into a physical by the restoration of Mironoi. PR subtly hinting anyone associated with the morphing grid CAN ressurect or has ressurection capability for the second time in a row for a finale.

It is the persons opinion it ripped off gingaman you have no PLACE to say it's a lie. You can call it narrow-minded, and that is your right, but you can not call it a lie.

Yes, a handful. But a majority of the plot points and a lot of the episodes' pacing was an outright copy of Gingaman.

I've seen all of Gingaman twice. (Three times once Hi No Tori finishes subbing it). The list of things that were almost exactly the same as in LG is as long as my arm.

No, I'm saying that those are part of the reasons for it's less than popular status. You can't fight what the Sentai gives, so it's unfortunate, but still true.

I don't remember In Space being about video games.

I actually left PR as a kid during Lost Galaxy. Reason being that PR got too repetitive (rangers have regular day, villains say they have a new plan, monster attack, rangers come out, monster destroyed, monster grows, megazords come out, monster destroyed again, rangers have happy episode ending) and I was getting bored.

I came back during Dino Thunder (or SPD)... can't remember exactly... since I was in a period where I had a craving for nostalgia and was revisiting some stuff from childhood. I stumbled upon PR again and came back, to say the least. :)

When watching LG after all these years, I was like "I can't believe I left during this season!" I thought it was a great season. Definitely one of my favorites now. :buttrock:

I left right before Chase into Space, and had a similar reaction when going back and watching Space.

Heh, I actually stopped once Time Force was over myself.

Corse by then, I was like 13 years old so I was ready to move on.

I haven't watch Lost Galaxy in 3 Years. Thanks, Disney for taking off Saban era seasons. :shakefist
