I'll miss the 2-in-1 Rider concept

It's easy to make anything better than Den-O.

That's a statement that not everyone would agree with

Hey Den-O was the first to have another mind inhabit a body concept. Kiva sorta tried to do something similar. W is just a better Den-O.
Den-O is not as bad as people make it out to be.

Agreed. Den-O was a great series, it justs happens to have gotten some backlash from fans for it's extension past TV, but the entusiasts don't mind how long it's been going on

Fans are just never pleased. Had it been any other series they probably would start hating that series for continuing as well.
Sabara Den-O was an awesome movie too.

This is why you just ignore the fans and pursue your own ideas. Would the fans have ever come up with an idea like W? No, because it's new, and fans always feel great trepidation at new ideas that might be terrible or take a franchise in a stupid direction. If you never let writers try new things, though, franchises get stale and the fans get bored.

well, there are the rare cases where there are optimistic people who are pleased most of the time

the only modern kamen rider im not a big fan of is hibiki mainly because of the premise and the giant monsters and the inclusion of clones
as my father always told me never clone anything more than once-it was true with the spider man clone saga, it was true of the star wars movies, its not something you should dabble as a plot concept.

And I'm one of them. I love most of the Heisei Kamen Rider shows, except Den-O and, as of recently, Decade. I liked Decade until I saw the last movie, which failed to deliver on any of my expectations (and Decade was the only Kamen Rider I actually had expectations for). Den-O was never that great of a series for me, but I might actually have better things to say about it if it wasn't for the constant continuations.

Hibiki didn't have clones. They had a lot of similar Riders/Oni appearance-wise, but none of them are actually clones. But I can understand that Hibiki doesn't have as deep a story to it as other Rider shows. As someone who does like it, I can easily say it takes a certain kind refined taste to enjoy Hibiki. If you enjoyed Showa Riders, like I do, then there are plenty of things about Hibiki to enjoy.

i wasn't talking about the riders are clones im mean the man and women who live in the western style house they had clones by the BUCKET LOAD

I'm the opposite in regards to Den-O. I've always liked it, nothing even gave me doubt, and I can really see why it is so successful. I gladly accep and appreciate the effort that's put into it. Heck, as I've said before, it was the series that made me a full-fledged Kamen Rider fan

As they said, things that are appealing to the masses is often those that doesn't require too much brain activity to appreciate, Den-O being a comedy-centric show, as much as they inserted a lot of scientific concepts like space-time-continuum.

It is popular because kids love the series since it's "fun" rather than "interesting" IMHO.

I'm not sure yet. For lack of better phrasing, pretty much half the reason the 2-in-1 thing works is the actors involved; Kiriyama and Suda are always watchable and have great chemistry together. It really feels like they've grown into a buddy team now, whereas towards the beginning of the show their relationship was more prickly and it seemed like more of the Shotaro Show featuring that Crazy Guy. The other half is that the writers handled the concept correctly; there's been 2-in-1 heroes before, but Double probably does it in the best way I've seen that doesn't involve a giant dude from space.

Overall Double has just been a hard series for me to figure out though. I don't think I'll be able to decide on how I feel about it until it's over!
