If your favorite toku was given an uncut English dub by whichever company you want (I would choose Funimation), who would want casted for the roles?

I don't give too much thought to it. I only have random casting ideas here and there, but...

I think Johnny Yong Bosch would be good for Kadoya Tsukasa/Kamen Rider Decade.
I also wouldn't mind seeing Sean Schemmel for Tsugami Shouichi/Kamen Rider Agito.

I have had tons of other passing ideas, but I can't think of them all.

Bandai? They are awful, they use the same 8 or 9 actors in a bunch of different role and seasons, Gundam dubs for example. Funimation is much, much better.

Agreed, if a company decided to bring a KR season to North America I would want it to be a sub, and them streamed online like Funimation does

I beg to disagree. As one who was accustomed to watching dubbed tokusatsu films (Godzilla, Gamera and many others) since my childhood, I think Titra Studios in NYC (the late Peter Fernandez was one of the veterans) was one of the best crews for dubbing Japanese films and shows. Few ever came close.

i would say no to dubbing, especially kr den-o. some people aready don't like the show, so if they dub it, they will make it worse. i rather they leave it the way it is. same with an english adaptation of den-o. they will just make it worse.

I am used in watching Tokusatsu dub since I was a kid. There is no problem with dubbed toku, I mean, most Godzilla films were memorable because of the dubs especially those badly timed ones.

I've seen the Death Note movies and Shogun Assassin, and while I can't say how faithful Assassin's translation was nor can I say that I like the plot of Death Note, I still think the dubs for those movies were great. And now Funimation has been releasing a few live action shows themselves. I don't know if they are dubbed or not, but if they are, I am guessing they fall along the same quality as or perhaps better quality than the Death Note movies. Point is, I think dubs can be done in a good way. It will never be perfect because you can never truly sync up the dialogue in way that flows naturally with the mouth movements, it'll never be like dubbing a cartoon, but you can get pretty close.

Also, if the release was uncut, then I would imagine the DVD releases would be bilingual. So if the dub still bothers you, you can always change it to Japanese audio with English subs.
