I noticed something similar about the 2001-2005 and the 2006-2010 Sentai Series

Oh, come on, you don't find it odd that after the 25th anniversery Series, Gaoranger, Toei made a Sentai that takes the "Ger" from ranger and put at the end of another word to try something new and that after that, the next three sentai's, Abaranger, Dekaranger and Magiranger, use the entire ranger word and it's 30th anniversery series was called Boukenger, then after it was Gekiranger, followed by Go-onger, Shinkenger and, soon, Goseiger? That seems like a pretty clear coincidental pattern to me.

No, not really. That's just Toei being 'creative' with the word Ranger and another word based on that particular team's gimmick. Again, this has been around since Goranger, although the word 'ranger' didn't get used in a title after Goranger again until Turboranger. It's not really a pattern, it's just whatever name pleases them or their typically unpleasable fanbase.

Personally, I prefer when they actually gave their series somewhat original titles. Even the titles with the 'man' suffix were better than their most recent titles.

I really think it would be cool to go back to a "man" title, or better yet, give us a new suffix, though I doubt that would ever happen at this point.

Yes! And while we're at it, let's go back to Ranger alter egos that don't start with the name of the season. For 14 years we've had that system: MegaRed, GingaRed, GoRed, TimeRed, etc. (Hurricanger is the only exception, but even there it was only the Gourai brothers and Shurikenger.) Bring back names like Red Racer, Red Hawk, Red Turbo, Red Flash, etc. Or even a Sun Vulcan/Changeman style. (VulEagle, Change Dragon, etc.) Or maybe Zyu/Dai. (Tyrannoranger, Ryuuranger, etc.)

Perhaps they were trying something new, I don't know. I'd like to think they would have come up with something more than just using the last three letters of "ranger," but...why should I have expected that, when this is the company that thinks it's acceptable to film and air stuff like Go-onger and Decade?

But I'd definitely like for them to drop "ranger" or "ger." I'm a fan of the "man" titles, but maybe it's good they're not just throwing that around. Where's a crazy title like Battle Fever J?

Also I think the use of this image is appropriate

I liked Go Go V's title. Absolutely puntastic.

I know they love Goranger and all, but Toei needs to give "go" and "five" or any sort of play on the words a rest. Recently there's been a Gougou Sentai, a Go-onger, and now Goseiger, which is just uncreative when there was already a Gosei Sentai...

Will that be the new thing? Take the team's title and make it a show? Like Dengekiger or Hyakujuuger or Ninpuuger.
