9/10... for now.
I was really skeptical about this show when it was first announced and was cracking "Baron Ashura Rider" along with everyone else. (Hell, even the net movies made that joke.) However, once the actual show started, I have to say, this is the most consistently solid (at least so far) Rider shows I've ever seen.
The only episode I can really say any thing bad about was the first part of the Sweets arc, since it was the only time they really let Shoe Girl's perchance for WACKY MUGGING get too out of control. Even then though, the second part made it clear you were SUPPOSED to think some her actions were really stupid and addressed them in a very good way and made the character stronger for it.
The CGI... yeah it's Toei CGI. I think I've gotten used to it enough that it's quality levels don't really bug me anymore.
The real test, however, will see how it holds up when it is completed. As much as I enjoyed Decade while it was on, learning that the big spectacle was ultimately about nothing, even within its own narrative, hurts any desire to go back and watch it again later. It's like the Kamen Rider version of Seinfeld (except I hated Seinfeld the first time around too).
So far, with Double, even now, I find myself looking back at earlier episodes and going, "oh hey, so that's why...", which is the sign of a really tightly written show. The introduction of Accel will be its biggest test so far, to see if it can keep it up, but I haven't really seen a reason to worry just yet.
Also, I would like to note a slight amusement over the fact that the biggest complaint about Double so far appears to be: "There's not enough to complain about."
