Rider Designation: Kamen Rider Momoki (Training Demon):

Description: [hide]Mari’s rider form is not armor or a suit, but a full, physical transformation. Her body becomes black and muscular with an almost armored appearance while her facial features vanish. Her forearms are colored red, however, and her face is covered with red marks similar to those seen on another Oni; Amaki. Like Amaki these marks stretch to form two horns that change to a golden color nearer their points. On her brow is the golden Oni mark seen in all Oni, which stretches to form a third, horn like point. Unlike other Oni, Mari has the unique ability to alter her form to accommodate her talent with Percussion, String, and Wind Oni techniques. This means her armor and armaments change depending on which Henshin Device she uses. The Henshin Onsa transforms her into Percussion Mode which equips her with armor and armaments nearly identical to those used by her primary teacher, Kamen Rider Hibiki. Using the Henshin Onibue will change her to Wind Mode, equiping her with gear similar to her second teacher, Kamen Rider Ibuki. Using the Henshin Kigen will change Mari to String Mode, and grant her gear similar to her third teacher, Kamen Rider Zanki. These armors are only different in that they are suited for her more feminine physique, and her basic Oni body stays the same regardless of which Mode she is in. Also she always has the three henshin devices equipped to her while transformed, but usually makes it a rule to only shift “Modes” once a battle due to the strain brought about by realigning her KI. [/hide]

(This is what her physique in oni form is like in all modes. Only differences are the colors and armor. Though the armor in the picture is a lot like her wind mode armor. Again just an example of her physique and facial structure. )

Returning from either RPG: No

Bio: [hide]Mari was born in Japan where she lived for half her life in the Kita region of Tokyo with her Mother, Taki, Father, Masanori, and her younger sister, Erika. Always a cheerful, fiery child; Mari was rather chubby in her youth and was far from the most popular person in her school. However her cheerful attitude, friendly nature, and good spirit often appealed to a person’s better nature, so she wasn’t overly teased, even if she didn’t have many friends. Mari was very bright in subjects such as history, social studies, and basic math, but had a hard time with science and only made mediocre grades in all subjects. This was due to her day dreaming almost constantly which distracted her from her school work, but was more important to her then the letter grades dished out by her teachers. Like many girls her age, she was a fan of magic girls, and super sentai, but also loved Kamen Riders. This was due in no small part to her father’s massive collection of VHS showa era rider episodes. Over all, Mari’s childhood was a very good one, though it soon became more difficult for her after her family’s move to the U.S. The Masakis moved due to Taki receiving an amazing job in the automobile manufacturing industry, which required the family to live in Houston, Texas.

The move was quite a big deal for the young Mari, as it would be for anyone leaving their homeland for another country. Still, the ten year old was very excited about the whole situation and looked forward to the adventures she would have across the pacific. At first she was well accepted by her peers at the local elementary school, but the language barrier soon proved to be a bigger factor in Mari’s education and social standing then the girl could have ever realized. She had learned some English in school back in Japan, but even with her text books in Japanese she had a hard time comprehending her lessons. The other children were curious about Mari at first, but eventually she just became another face in class with few of the other children paying much attention to her. For a time the young girl became depressed and home sick. That was until she met Ziggy; an Scandinavian youth who had moved to Texas to live with his grandparents, at the age of thirteen. Ziggy could tell Mari was lonely, and was just as much a fish out of water as he was. When the conversation unexpectedly turned to Kamen Rider, Mari could feel an unspeakable joy swell up in her chest. The entire class was shocked and a bit terrified at the explosive conversation of mixed Japanese, Swedish, and broken English that erupted at the back of the class. Combine that with the poses the two were striking, and most thought the duo was performing some kind of ritual.

It turned out Ziggy was a ravenous Otaku; no doubt due to long winters with nothing else to do but surf the Internet. Soon the two were the best of friends, spending as much time together as they did with their families. All the while, Mari was transforming from a chubby young girl, into a beautiful young woman. Her “baby fat” had spread out nicely as she grew taller, leaving her with a figure that lay somewhere between lithe and voluptuous. Though her body matured, Mari herself kept her child like cheer and infatuation with super heroes. Her English also improved tremendously over the next few years and her grades improved as a sign of this. She dated a few boys, but none really added up to her ideal man; young, hansom, mature, strong willed, and passionate. True, this is what most women seek in a man, but Mari needed something else along with all this; though she couldn’t quite put it into words. There was even a point where she and Ziggy tried dating, but found being a couple to be too weird. When Mari was seventeen, Ziggy turned her on to Henshin Justice Unlimited. What at first looked like just another toku fan site turned out to be a huge, thriving community for all forms of Otaku. Mari had very few IRL friends other then Ziggy to talk to regarding her fandoms, but now she had hundreds to share her passions with!

After graduation, Mari still couldn’t decide what she wanted to do with her life. Part of her wanted to become a suit actor for a tokusatsu, or a voice actor for anime. To that end, Mari decided to return to Japan in hopes of fulfilling one, if not both of these desires. Leaving her family and friends was not easy, but she felt like it was something she needed to do. Once back in Japan, Mari was amazed by just how much had changed in the eight years she had been in the U.S. She eventually reestablished herself in her family’s old home in the Kita district and took a job at a local food market. In her spare time, the “professional otaku aspirant” worked out vigorously, practice lip syncing, and kept up with the latest news on HJU and other sites. She also kept in contact with Ziggy via the site, finding out he had returned to his own home land due to family trouble. Though he kept the details to himself, Ziggy claimed he would be returning to the U.S. soon, but wasn’t sure if he would end up back in Houston. Mari tried to convince her friend to come live with her in Japan, but to no avail as the young man claimed he had something “life altering” to do.

After a year searching for a legitimate job in her chosen profession, Mari received an unexpected visitor at her door one day that left the young woman in shock. Standing before her was who she thought was Shigeki Hosokawa, the actor who portrayed Kamen Rider Hibiki. Naturally, Mari hugged the man without question and nearly cried upon seeing him. The man didn’t identify himself as Shigeki, however, and instead claimed to be Hibiki himself. “Of course you are, and you always will be.” Mari’s words reflected her kindness, but also her lack of understanding. What ensued was a misadventure involving an attack by shocker grunts, a pack of Bakeneko, the revelation that the man Mari had met was indeed a version of Hibiki from another world, the truth about HJU, and that the site’s secret organization had some how determined that Mari had the potential to become their world’s first Oni Rider. Not to mention meeting an alternate version of Zanki and Ibuki before witnessing all three Oni riders fight off a Tsuchigumo. It was the best day of Mari’s life, but it wouldn’t be the last. Mari spent the next year training with Hibiki, Zanki, and Ibuki, who were shocked at the girl’s quick comprehension and progress. Mari was more then a natural at the difficult training, she had a spirit and willpower that had only slightly been taped into during her life and more potential then any of her teachers had seen. By the time her initial training was done, Mari had not only acquired her Oni form, but had also learned to utilize abilities from all three Oni disciplines. Hibiki, Zanki, and Ibuki each gave her the henshin device representing their branches of Oni training and technique, and gave Mari her new, Oni name: Momoki (Training Demon). With her training complete, Mari received a message from HJU that she was needed in the U.S. where many other riders were gathering. Hibiki and the other Oni would remain in Japan to protect the territory until further notice, while Mari would meet up with the other riders to begin her quest as a Kamen Rider. The young otaku turned oni warrior knows one thing for certain: being a suit actor or voice actor would be nice, but being the real thing beats it all![/hide]

I guess besides being dark colored, they should have opposite personalities. Negataros had a more cool and cruel personalities compared to Momo. NegaUra should be a bit mean and more masculine. NegaKin should be weak but smart, And for NegaRyuuta, more serious and a bit murderous.

Shall be posting once I've got off from work this afternoon.

EDIT: I am hearing mixed signals in regards of my cable provider and the local media channel butting heads over who fault it is. Reading further into the conversation from the cable provider may not see a reduction in the next billing cycle. As stated either they resolve matters or lower the next bill otherwise I'm saying goodbye to TWC. What this means shall be unable to post till settling into the new provider. However, this is only will be decided when the two weeks have passed and no agreement has been made by them.

I shall post tomorrow promise. I have a few errands to run after work and one of them might be more time consuming. Also next week one of the days shall be without internet usage till a repair is made.

Once I've finished this one post shall work on a post. Must sincerely apologize this has not been a good week with having my Nana back in the hospital again, and today responding to an emergency call from a good friend of the family. Again, I do apologize for the inconvience.

Nothing to apologize for Magi; Family and friends come first. Besides it isn't as if I've been very responsible with my own posts...DFO and Black Books. So many projects and fandoms, so little time.
