Has anyone ever had this happen? (Dream related)

Used to happen to me all the time. It feels almost as if I wanna scream for help...but nothing comes out. And then there's sometimes where it feel like my body is twitching or even sometimes jumping.

Strangely enough, I've had sleep paralysis before. However, I didn't have full-body sleep paralysis. Sometimes, when I wake up, one or in some cases, both of my legs fall asleep. And I solve this problem by listening to music.

Sleep paralysis along with the cultural influences where they live and the innate primal fear of the dark has always caused people to experience nightmares and abductions.

Like for example, in the Middle Ages, people though that demons were siiting on peoples' chests ,the most famous is the old hag.

I ,too, have experienced it. Once , when I was four years old , I was sleeping in my room until a satan-esque creature was staring at me with its' evil red eyes ,grinning. I was scared enough that I slept with my Grandma and it came back again, but as a shadow. When I went to my room to sleep, a year later, a group of demons were staring at me while I was paralyzed on the floor . I thought I was gonig to die ,then I woke up.

So as I said,it all depends on the culture and the fear of the dark and unknown.

Its a common occurence with me and I believe its usually because you see something so frightening that your mind partially comes out of your subconcious, but you can't control your body (you're basically wake sleeping) then your mind slowly drifts back to unconciousness without you even realizing it.

The last time it happened to me was just a completely fucked up dream (I blame the internet). I was paralyzed and I felt this tingling sensation when trying to move. Very very creepy.

I've never had sleep paralysis before, but my gf keeps talking about having it. I would hate it though, seems like a shitty experience.
