Go-onger: Kiddie sentai?

You can tell by the new mechs that it was MADE FOR KIDDIES, the same way when Toei had BF Kabutack and Ironbark Detective Robotack made for small kids.

so i was thinking if that was the first kiddie sentai.

First of all, Sentai is always meant for kids. That is the group of people Toei make toys for ... Second, Goonger has not even yet premiered and you are making your judgements based on pics posted on the rumor thread. My advice is, wait till Feb 17 2008, watch the first episode then you decide whether or not its a kiddie sentai or what have u .... :redface2:

LOL, man... I know sentai is meant for adults and all. You know, wearing brightly colored spandex... fighting birdmen, walking scorpions, and a gaggle of furries. >.>;;;; Nah.

Sentai, like Power Rangers, is made for the kids. If we like it, that's just a bonus. We're all watching children's television, no matter how you look at it.

Like has been said... the show won't be out till February, so we should all just withhold judgement.

You are right, but i do hate people who always jumps to conclusion just because of pics. I admit when i first pics of Gekiranger, i was "WTF was that !?!" but after watching the series, i began to love it more and more ...

I think the OP post does have a point actually. Yeah, we all know that Sentai is aimed at children, but it's always sort of had a visual feel that seemed like it could attract people of all ages, Go-Onger doesn't seem like it's going to be like that. The suits look really nasty and will probably take a long time to get used to, EngineOu is butt ugly, especially with those three pairs of eyes. The weapons look uninspired and like rip offs of other stuff, the Highway Buster is little more than a reworking of the Perfect Zecter.

Go-onger looks great, I really don't see the hate for it. I have a good feeling about it. Nothing really "kiddie" at all about it from the looks of it. More like it looks extremely similar to retro sentai.
