Which mall did you go to? I was at the Glendale one and found absolutely nothing. Well, I did find a pair of boots which were really cute and a good price, but JC Penny's computer system went down so they couldn't ring anyone up. I didn't feel like waiting in a 1.5+ hour line to get them, so we just left them and went elsewhere.

Yeah, I'm never going to Glendale Galleria for Black Friday. The last couple of years have been a nightmare for me and I usually don't find anything. I may check out the Americana across the street, but I doubt that's any better.

I went to the Santa Anita Mall. It was FAR from crowded and I found almost everything I wanted. They had all my favorite stores, H&M, Forever 21, Metropark, and Cotton On (and a couple of new hole in the walls with THE CUTEST hoodies, cardis and coats!).

I even got the chance to try on a few pieces of clothing without worrying about being stuck in a store for three hours. We should go together next year :P Or hell, we should just go shopping in general.

No Black Friday up in canada but I'm looking forward to boxing week after christmas :3.. I want me some nice boots~

Ooo~ boots are always good. I was planning on getting a new pair of sneakers this year, but only if my mom and I were heading to the outlet stores. The deals are better there for shoes and they have a slightly bigger selection.

On principle, I dislike UGG boots and anything similar to it, but my mom had found a pair of mid-calf, navy, lace up UGG boots at an outlet a few years back.

As seen here:

I only wear them when I go snowboarding, or it's down pouring rain, or if I'll be traveling somewhere really cold (like upstate New York, lol. Even then I didn't even wear them often).

People keep asking me about them, but, apparently, they don't exist anymore.

I don't like ugg boots at all either :/ Not my style. Plus they have horrible arch support.. so if you see people walking the boots are always slanted to the side. Let me tell you.. that is not good for your muscles and bones to walk that way.
The ones you have, Angie, are nicer ones from the general ones you see around.

Yeah, they don't offer the greatest arch support, that's for sure.

Though, surprisingly, I was able to wear them all day during a Disney run and my feet weren't screaming at me at the end of the night.

They're definitely the only pair of UGGs I will ever wear. All the other ones I've seen and their rip offs are just not that great to look at... or wear.

I think it's because they're generally bulky and not streamlined. Those blue ones you have are nice and streamlined, though.

Tamagoyaki.. you mean the weeaboo term for fried egg?

(Haha I'm just kidding, I know it's made in a different style)

That's a nice tamagoyaki there, I only do omurice for my sisters which is the easiest for me. XD

On a side note, got too busy both online and offline since mom is on Dutch Harbor now for the seasonal work until April 2011 so I'm currently the "chore girl" in the house and trying to balance my life schedule is crazy. x.x

So LivingSocialDeals is having a deal on Pole Dancing/Vertical Dancing lessons and I bought myself 2 weeks of lessons for $15. I can't wait! I've wanted to try this in like forever. I hear it's an amazing workout. But I am a bit worried; I haven't exercised in a long time and am a bit nervous about the body condition you need to start off.

So my question to you gals, any of you chicas do/try this and how is it? :anime: Also, is there some kind of basic body condition needed?

Mmm... okonomiyaki and omurice... dammit, now I'm hungry~ :P

*hugs to konrei* When my parents are out of town, I get the lovely task of house sitting and making sure the place stays clean which is a very headache inducing task when one has three dogs and four cats in the house. Being chore girl definitely sucks~

As for pole dancing, Mara, I haven't taken a formal class, but a couple of my girl friends has and, though simply for fun, they installed a pole in their apartment, which we sometimes dance on.

Just like any other form of dance, I don't think there really isn't a specific body condition you need to be to get started. It is a cardio work out, but it's not like a hardcore running session. Sometimes you don't even realize you're working up a sweat until, well, you do~ lol

Unless you're going into the hardcore trying to lift yourself up on the pole and flipping over, I don't think there's anything you need to worry about, Mara. :anime: Just enjoy~ lol

(and let us know it goes, it actually would be pretty fun to take a formal class~ lol)
