I am about start watching Kamen Rider Hibiki. Most people say it is not a good series. What are your thoughts about Hibiki? What should I expect?

People are not you, they won't have the same mindset as you.

Best advice, just watch it and enjoy it.Don't get affected just because people say it isn't nice,it probably might suit you just nice

Another day, another Hibiki thread.

If you have plans on watching this show, I think the best piece of advice one could give is: Don't forget to take your NoDoz.

For me, 1st half was great, 2nd half and the movie sucked (only thing great for me was Todoroki and Zanki's story plus the Hibiki Souko)... But that's me.

....Does it have spiders?
Tons of lovely and poorly CGI'd spiders all over the place, of course Kamen Rider series tend to think it's cute to make the first monster that's faced be a spider or bat themed one most of the time.

For Hibiki, I would simply say keep an open mind because it is incredibly different from any Kamen Rider series before and after it, both thematically and in terms of the story told (at least up until episode 30), so you really have to go into it with no preconceived notions of what a Kamen Rider series "should" be.

Watch Hibiki as if it was a typical toku series, and it will help eliminate some of the "Kamen Rider" filters that you're brain will start tuning out as you watch the series. Once you start looking @ Hibiki as "just a toku show" and "not a typical Kamen Rider show," you will have a more objective and rational perspective of this series
