Aoi Kurenai
Mad Skillz
The really disappointing thing is that the original crew had no idea where they wanted to go with Hibiki. I've read that scripts were being handed in just days before they had to be filmed at one point. So I'm guessing that Kida and Ooishi only had the very most vague ideas of what would become of the story at the end. It's sad that Inoue had to take over from episode 30.
I think it's also a bit sad that Tsuyoshi Kida and Shinji Ooishi had to leave as writers, but also that we never really got to know how it should have ended, would have been awesome with a novel or something to properly end Hibiki, the way it should have been ended.
Though I don't think the switch to Inoue was horrible, the first few episodes took a bit of time getting used to, and especially that bit where Ibuki seems to show emotion for the first time in the series by emoing out on Akira, but otherwise, I thought he did a good job with his half of the show.
The Armed Saber / Hibiki Soukou was a concept that was going to be implemented either way, pictures of it were first leaked when Hibiki was still in the early 20s.Other than that is pretty awesome to watch, sadly Inoue's Armed Saber ruined some of the awesomeness, since I actually liked Hibiki Kurenai, seeing it getting ditched in favor of Armed Hibiki... Sad.
