At least, you didn't let him get away, So good for you. But i agree with Faded, he might try to press charges on you for assasult. By any chance, did the security camera caught all of this on type? And also, am guessing you had witnesses who had seen the whole thing?

I had plenty of witness and the cops were there for the part the camera didn't caught.

And by slamming I really mean pushed into the wall and pin him there. The guy didn't have a lot of balance (being drunk and all) so he was easy to push around. I used 'slam' for the dramatic effect to be fair. I was rough but I'm not really that strong and like I said I'm pretty sure the cop's baton to the solar plexus is gonna be more easy for him to remember ya know?

Shoplifters are the cowardliest of criminals. If he had a weapon and the gall to use it he would have went with armed roberry and get money out of it.

If it had been an armed roberry I wouldn't have fought back and just gave the cash. Like I actually did last year.

This time though I felt personally insulted and I'm getting so tired of young punks thinking they can get away with it so easily. A display like that is important because it shows we're not screwing around and letting small time teenage crooks walk all over us.

Plus the evening was so fuckin' BORING I had to throw some excitement in :laugh:
