Anyways, I'll comment on the soap opera shows...
Sa totoo lang talagang nakakasawa pero patok sila sa masa and sa mga matatanda. And don't forget the love-teams.:sweat:

Another thing is the Filipino Adaptations. There are times na ok pero there are times na hindi. Check out Lupin Zorro and the others, super iba dun sa orig.
And yung sa mga Korean, para talagang wala nang maisip na iba.

So far, yung pinakamaganda kong napanuod these few months is DIVA. Original yung kwento and entertaining.

Now, now... Flying House and Super Book would beat all of those shows... Hahaahh ;)
Agreed to the max. :buttrock:

Diva at Pilyang Kerubin ang matino na show sa 'ken, sa channel 2 puro mga ewan. :laugh:

@JFC
What I heard from my mom only the name will be changed, staffs and co-hosts are still the same but the hosts are Kris Aquino and Robin Padilla.

JFC - you should be able to play your PAL DVDs using VLC...
Yeah, I know I could do that, and that watching it on my computer monitor instead of on my TV should be fine, but the video quality would still be a bit "off" compared to if it's played in a proper, standalone DVD player. The nitpicker in my just wouldn't be able to let it go. :sweat:

Really? Well then...meh. It's really the only Pinoy show that I actually watch since can't stand the stupid melodrama-dramas (which is pretty much all of them, IMO) that they make back home. Oh well, so much for Willie thinking that he could get the producers to give in to his demands. :P

To be honest, I didn't think that Padilla did that well when he was guest-hosting it a few weeks ago. He was too "stiff" and seemed to be concerned with making sure he kept up is "cool" image. I say that the guy that's been on lately/currently (Luis, I think?), he's better suited for this type of show. He's got a much more natural rapport with both the audience as well as the other hosts and seems much more comfortable with this type of show where all the dialog is ad-libbed instead of having to read/act from a script.

This is why I hate our country's melodramas. They tend to repeat the same plot over and over again and again and again (intended repetition here.) with little motivation to give the fans what they want in terms of quality. I mean, look at Maria Clara, Mula Sa Puso, Esperanza and Pangako sa Yo, all of these are what you can call nicely written shows and that you are going to get glued to their own stories as they progress. Look at the way their plots are executed, they tend to give you a "What on? I didn't expect this to happen" in a good way. Unpredictability without any blatant execution as opposed to today's dramas (minus May Bukas Pa and Agua Bendita, they are so full of those moments of awesome).

Pagdating naman sa mga shows sa noon, prefered pa sakin ang Wowowee dahil mas genki pa yun and I so hope that Willie comes back to regain the show's good ratings.
