It's because that's how things work with public viewers, to attract more viewers they make gimmicks that are so simple in nature it doesn't need too much brain activity to understand (since it is a fact that majority of the world's population isn't intelligent), and often has content that is a bit "sexual" or "violent" in nature. But the downside to that is, it doesn't become a work that is worth to be remembered in history, since it's not an artwork, its sole-purpose is just to attract viewers, not to challenge them and be remembered throughout history for making a difference. Just my 2 cents.

Mushashi, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you meant that there are a lot of ignorant people instead of being unintelligent. We all possess that innate quality of intelligence, just in different degrees. And most of the population just don't know how to use what's within us in.

And I agree, people tend to lean towards to basic forms of acting. Why because it's easy and does not need a lot of thinking. And just like you said, it's easier to attrack regular folks. I think of us here (everybody in HJU) above average. :castlerock:

To correct you, I meant what I said. If I had the power, I'd force all local TV channels to air educational shows rather than what the masses are addicted to, specifically never-ending teleseryes and novelty shows like Wowowee. This is of course, my humble opinion.

EDIT:

http://technogra.ph/2010/04/01/resurrected-bnpp-to-kick-off-nuclear-weapons-program/

It's about the BNPP. Using it as a front for a nuke weapons program violates the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and Article II Section 8 of our Constitution.

Man! No nukes please but if we are to use that for electricity, BRING IT ON! Provided that caution to the highest level will be followed all the way.

I agree with the number of shows... There's just too too many of them. Though with the advent of cable shows and it being more accessible to the masses, it's hard to blame them since they just want to keep their revenues flowing. Due to cabletv, it also means that there's access to a lot more of the educational shows. It's a matter of choice for the viewers.

I won't comment on any post this time... Actually, tinamad ba nga akong basahin yung iba kasi ba naman, ang bilis madagdagan ng pages~

Fast Rant~

I feel very disappointed on the performance of the Seigaku 4th cast in Prince of Tennis Musicals... The first three sets of cast are better and even greater than the 4th... I can't accept Hamao Kyousuke (GoseiBlack) for portraying the role of Kikumaru Eiji for Momoshiro Takeshi's character fits him more... Another thing, Watanabe Daisuke (George in Mebius) doesn't fit to sing Shirota Yuu's (Tezuka Kunimitasu) song... He sang it on low notes while Shirota sings on high notes... Just good thing that I love the Watanabe-Hamao tandem in a BL movie~

Some Toku actors are notable for their Tenimyu roles...
