Engine Sentai Go-Onger: Full Blast (sign up)

Thank you very much! Here's my profile.

Name: Kasumi Tachibana
Age: 16
Appearance: 1134505460_spritty200.avif

Designation: Go-On Blue
Weapon: Garage Launcher
Engine Partner: Buson

Bio: Kasumi never though of herself as the “superhero” type. Her parents were fairly traditionalist, and wanted their daughter to focus on doing well in school and save other things for afterwards…whenever afterwards would be. Though her parents were flexible with what she could do, she held herself personally to a rigid schedule, with her overactive imagination devising horrible things that could happen to her if she did not satisfy her parents’ wishes. She threw herself headlong into her studies, making very little social contact with others outside of the classroom. This allowed her to excel as a student – she was consistently within the top twenty students of her grade – but it also gave her a reputation as an anti-social person, which only served to booster her already shy demeanor.

Kasumi had a particular penchant for magical girl anime series and would schedule her entire life around the opportunities to watch them, putting even her studying aside. A fan of shows like Pretty Cure and Sailor Moon, Kasumi secretly wished that she could someday be like the animated girls she had come to idolize. If Ami Mizuno, the brainy loner, could become a superhero and gain friends, why couldn’t she?

Kasumi eventually discovered Buson while walking home from school one September afternoon. The Engine had somehow gotten itself stuck in a trash can, and while he managed to wriggle himself out, the great ruckus he made caught her attention. Assuming that the little blue truck was some child’s toy, Kasumi put it in her bag and continued to walk…but then she was stopped by a mysterious creature covered in cogs. It chased her around the neighborhood for several minutes until Buson was finally able to get her attention. “I’m the only one that can help you,” he said, “but you have to do as I say!”

Confused and desperate, Kasumi accepted Buson’s help and transformed into the blue Go-Onger for the first time. Though the creature chasing her was initially distracted by her transformation, it quickly resumed her attack…and Kasumi had no idea what to do. Buson had to aid her in summoning the Garage Launcher, which she was then able to use to destroy the creature. In the following weeks, Kasumi’s been eager about her situation, as it gives her some semblance of the magical girl lifestyle she’s always wanted. At the same time, however, she’s actively refused to fight off any Gaiark warriors that don’t come after her directly, afraid of the consequences it might have on her schoolwork and her parents’ approval of her. As she has reassured Buson a thousand times over, there are other Engines out there, and they must have partners as well; eventually, she will discover them or vice versa, and it’ll be easier for her to perform her duty as a defender of the planet.

Name: Hibari Koyama

Age: 24

Appearance:

Designation: Go-On Black

Weapon: Cowl Laser

Engine Partner: Gunpherd

Bio: While her birth records showed that she was born into a well-to-do middle class family, Hibari never really experienced the love and affection of her parents, for both parents perished in a break-in robbery staged by a thief one night when she was still a toddler. Because of that, the government decided that custody of her would be awarded to a close uncle -- a man who worked minimum wage as a plumber. With no other place to go, Little Hibari went on to live at her Uncle's house with open arms, happy that someone she knows accepted her. However, things would change for her as time went on.

Growing up from a cute little girl to a somewhat attractive Junior High school student, Hibari would see one of the reasons why she and her uncle would sometimes have to split a small can of sardines at dinnertime: her uncle was a heavy drinker and a compulsive gambler, often blowing his hard-earned wages on booze and betting on horse races, which he often lost because he often made huge bets on the wrong horses. Still, in spite of this situation, Hibari believed in working hard to elevate hers and her uncle's status, and she did so by earning very high marks in her classes, and participating in extracurricular activities in Junior High, all the way to freshman year of her High School career. Despite putting on a cheery face throughout those years, that nagging sense of discontent toward her uncle's wasteful activites would remain in her heart, and would eventually take its toll.

Coming home from school one day, Hibari would be surprised by the sight of her uncle at home, lounging in front of the television. Aghast at seeing him let a day pass by without making anything happen, Hibari would protest by grabbing her uncle's half-finished beer bottle and dumped its contents into the sink, proceeding to throw the bottle itself into the trash. Obviously, this did not please the uncle, for he saw Hibari's actions as disrespect to her elders. Because of this simple act, the two would get wrapped up in a shouting match, with Hibari eventually hurting her shoulder after being shoved to a nearby cabinet by her uncle. Hurt and angered, Hibari screamed a resounding "I HATE YOU", before leaving her uncle's house for good.

Since that time, Hibari has roamed the streets aimlessly, her clothing changing to that of a backless, sleeveless black Midriff top with a cross design in the middle, short red shorts, and cowboy boots with buckles. At the time she decided to join a local street gang, Hibari proceeded to accent her back and shoulders with tattoos to show that she was a part of the gang. During her time in the Street gang, she was given free shelter by one of the gang members, essentially taking her in as a little sister of sorts. From that one gang member, she learned how to fight, handle a gun, and drive a motor vehicle, aware that she is expected to help the gang in pulling off various criminal activities. While she knew that it was wrong, Hibari didn't care, for she merely saw it as giving back to the person that gave her a home.

One day, while helping the gang pull off a major bank heist by being the getaway driver, Hibari gave it her best in driving fast and beating red lights as she weaved through traffic just to evade the police. Despite her skills, her inexperience allowed a Police car to pop in from the front, causing Hibari to crash the gang's getaway van into a fire hydrant. With the van incapacitated, She, along with the other Gang members, were arrested and convicted for the bank heist. It would take years before she was finally let out of prison for that crime, and by then, she had already become 24 years old.

Hibari found herself devoid of a home once more, Hibari roamed about the city, looking to bring her life back in order after spending many birthdays in prison. It was one of those days she would encounter a bunch of mechanical beings seemingly searching for something. Instinctively hiding behind a wall to avoid detection upon having measured up the beings as impossible opponents, Hibari would learn that the thing the metallic beings were looking for: Gunpherd. She would learn from the toy car-sized Enjin that the beings she saw were Gaiarks, and that he came from another planet to assist the humans, specifically her, in defeating the Gaiark threat. Though she did not really believe in many of the things Gunpherd told her, Hibari figured it was worth trying, as she did not have anything to lose. Upon receiving the necessary Henshin items, Hibari promptly transformed into Go-On Black and went on to defeat the Gaiark henchmen with relative ease.

A young woman with a strong sense of justice despite the fact that she served time for committing a crime, Hibari gives it her all in the fight against the Gaiark. When out of her Go-onger armor, however, Hibari doesn't associate much with the team, as she feels as if she did not really belong to the team, choosing only to come out whenever the others called on her. On one final note, because of her extensive study of the English language during her elementary and junior high years, Hibari is able to speak, read, and write in English very well, thus allowing her to be able to communicate with both Zeke and Topaz.
