Saying "Dragonball Evolution" wasn't that bad is like saying that "Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li" should've been nominated for Best Movie in the Academy Awards.

My only gripe was that Goku did not act like Goku. IN the movie he was just a whiny bitch, with an emo streak in his personality.
In the manga and any series, he is totally outgoing, and kinda dumb, but very likable.
Sad thing is, I saw the movie in theaters with 3 other people, and the 4 of us were the only ones there.

Honestly I think the movie is hilarious but it was a pretty terrible movie. I didn't think it was too terrible after seeing Legend of Chun Li earlier in the year.
The theater for DBE was PACKED for me though. But almost all of it was my
group, we managed to get a 40 or so people to go.

I don't know. To me, it just seemed to lack a lot of the adventurous stuff the DB had. I just remember one of my friends saying the Jackie Chan/Jet Li movie The Forbidden Kingdom was more like DB.

This movie was so bad that I only watched it once. I don't want to waste another 80 minutes of my life watching it again. Yamcha is supposed to be afraid of girls damn it. :shakefist
