Disney, WTF!!!

I know, right?

We should flirt some more.

Bigdog gets carried away with fallacies and Google Search.

And you get carried away with being ignorant in some other threads, and no, I don't derive my info from Google Search. I go onto the actual article and read it .

I'm not going to deny there aren't people like that. However, again, you are making the logical fallacy known as the hasty generalization.

Just because you know a few people, does not mean that it is correct to assume everybody using programs provided by the government are all scumbag leeches. Just like it's not correct to assume they're all good people.

EDIT: On another note, how the hell did this spawn from a discussion about Minnie Mouse developing severe anorexia?

I'm not assuming all of them are, just that some of the people in these conditions are. As in some. There are most likely people that are in these conditions that do not meet these criteria and are probably righteous and great people. However to assert that the majority of the people in these situations are not is another fallacy in of itself, which is a hasty generalization in of itself. To assume that there is good in the whole of an entire segment of a population has a certain positive naïvety to it , like with anything else.

On a side note , I'm not really sure how this even started other than me saying that governmental and biological reasons are why there's obesity and then it went down from there I think?

Any time you mention the governmental or biological reasons as the blame for anything it is going to go down hill BD. It would have happened no matter who brought said argument into the fray. Some people are skinny, some people are fat, and me, I'm gonna keep eating hot wings and walking in cricles. :redface2: Now I have to go figure out the proper way to use the word dogma.

Ignorant and imbecile aren't as interchangeable as you think.

Yes, I saw your post. I reported that one.

I am neither one.

Fine, Yahoo Search, or any search engine in general. You can read the article after searching for it.

The point is that contrary to what your parents may have told you or what you tell yourself every day in the mirror, you are not a genius. You are as mortal and vulnerable as anyone else. Try to understand what someone is telling you and don't stay committed to your first thought.

Mind you those aren't the only reasons exclusively, as if I ever asserted that.

If I take myself and my family particularly my father's side, it has a chance of obesity due to diet , which is linked to ancestry. However, none of them smoke or really drink. Baptist, Irish/German. Also interesting is how my grandparents on this side were thin as can be.

On my mother's side, there is a huge chance of alcoholism and smoking addiction , which is in turn also somewhat connected to ancestry. Thin grandparents as well. (French/French Canadian, a bit of Native American)

However, within both of my families, I have had people whom have given up their vices and or slimmed down, which is the personal choice factor.

Although I have a rather horrible combination of genes not in my favor , I still have a choice to not continue the trend and better my lifestyle.

Economic choices as others said are a motivation for their diet, but their diet is not as much as fault as the lack of exercising.

The only thing I can hand to you is that you are not a Tails.

Did I ever imply I was a genius? No , but are you implying that you are?

So because I am, or anyone else here for the matter, are mortal and vulnerable, that means they cannot have the qualifications for genius?

Or does it depend on whether you consider the Eurocentric and Marxist liberal agenda as moot or worship it as gospel? Some of the "geniuses" held high by those adherents are either crackpots, killers, racists or just plain idiots. Especially when science and education as politicized and biased as it is , it's no wonder how these unscrupulous people have any authority over matters of logic and reason and why many nations are as they are today in respect to education.

I understand perfectly clear what your ignorant mind has been spouting and frankly , it's not only very irritating, but it is the absolute opposite of logical and rational thought.

Common sense is uncommon , and so is reasoning. Take some time to read some conservative writings with an open mind and you might actually like them.

PS: I was a hardcore leftist liberal , so I know all about that side of the coin.

You're not going about things the right way. You actually attack the person, and not just the idea.

You basically are putting yourself on a pedestal and you're preaching to people who do follow logical processes. The most basic one which you keep ignoring just because you are preaching is "I like this, so I will go with it.". People may be misguided, but you shouldn't attack people for it. Present your own points and actually allow others to present their own.

You keep twisting things and you keep bringing up irrelevant things like this Eurocentric and Marxist crap when all you should be doing is saying is, "I didn't think that I did that. Could you please explain it to me?" or, something which really looks like you want to say, "I am a genius, so I don't care."

You're the ignorant one. Keep a thread argument within its bounds.
