I know, right?
We should flirt some more.
Bigdog gets carried away with fallacies and Google Search.
And you get carried away with being ignorant in some other threads, and no, I don't derive my info from Google Search. I go onto the actual article and read it .
I'm not going to deny there aren't people like that. However, again, you are making the logical fallacy known as the hasty generalization.
Just because you know a few people, does not mean that it is correct to assume everybody using programs provided by the government are all scumbag leeches. Just like it's not correct to assume they're all good people.
EDIT: On another note, how the hell did this spawn from a discussion about Minnie Mouse developing severe anorexia?
I'm not assuming all of them are, just that some of the people in these conditions are. As in some. There are most likely people that are in these conditions that do not meet these criteria and are probably righteous and great people. However to assert that the majority of the people in these situations are not is another fallacy in of itself, which is a hasty generalization in of itself. To assume that there is good in the whole of an entire segment of a population has a certain positive naïvety to it , like with anything else.
On a side note , I'm not really sure how this even started other than me saying that governmental and biological reasons are why there's obesity and then it went down from there I think?
