If you read past reviews I made for Xros Wars, I mentioned that Kongoumon was a Armored Digimon of Miracles of Wormmon. And I think Mantaraymon from the Ocean Zone arc was also an Armored Digimon (probably Honesty/Reliability (dub)). Xros Wars is REALLY going all out with past Digimon that never had appearances.

Yeah but they were just characters. Walking in the shadows maybe talking to the main characters if they were lucky. I'm sure there were one or two in other seasons. But this is a partner. A Partner!

Until Xros Wars, 02 was my least favorite Digimon series. So the premise of a 02 for Xros Wars is not something I receive with open arms.

Still, I was able to find one good thing in that poster so that gives me hope.

I find it funny... In W the main character was Shoutaro, but the story constantly reminded us that Philip and Terui were "better suited" to be Kamen Riders than him, which made Shoutaro all the more likable. But in Xros Wars we have Taiki who's Gary-Sueing makes GokaiSilver look like a chump...

I never say that they should be the same, I just find it funny that they are completely different.

My problem with Taiki is not so much that he seems to be able to solver any obstacle almost by himself, (hell my favorite Digimon character is Takato who specifically wanted his Digimon to be stronger than Agumon), my problem with Taiki is that he doesn't seem to have any flaws.

Also, it's not abusing if you only use it for those two characters.
