Dick Grayson, confirmed as the new Batman?

This is Grant Morrison here, he practically thinks everything is non-canon unless he wrote it. I highly doubt Morrison would refer to that little stint back then when writing that piece of dialogue.
true

i can embrace it. its just weird seeing a guy who you grew up knowing as batman, is now gone? idk its just diffficult to embrace. after a couple of issues ill be ok.

Does anyone know what month Dick Grayson's run as Batman begins? I don't want to miss the first debut issue. *sighs* this is what happens when someone like me don't keep up.

Teaser poster for "Battle For The Cowel"

Just read the second portion of "Last Rites"...and nothing happens to Bruce there either. Once he figures out what The Lobe is doing with him, he gives him the go-ahead to begin the cloning process. The legion of clones self-destruct being unable to cope being Batman without "Bruce Waye's soul". The Lobe, realizing it's going to be executed for failiure, destroys the lab and frees Bruce. Bruce is now a one-man army on Apokolips, armed with a god-killing bullet. The story is concluded in issue seven of Final Crisis.

It also explains how Bruce survived the helicopter explosion in RIP's cop-out ending

Didio knew RIP didnt conclude with Bruce's death, he lied to the public in order to generate sales because FC, on schedule, would have tied in with Bruce's fate there. But we know FC went into it's well documented period of delays and editorial mandted rewrites.

I'm not sure whether to blame Dan or Morrison for the crappy direction of the Bat-verse...I mean, I can't remember the last good story I read from the guy (his New X-men run probably...?), but then again, Dan is the one who approves all of this. I am just beginning not to care, especially since Robin is being screwed in the process.

I think Morrison is a bit out of control and DiDio is...DiDio.

As for this thing, whatever DC. What ever.
