Yeah Liner From isnt really Ryotarou fighting by himself and personally I dont mind that.
I loved the Imagin concept all the way through and seeing how Ryotarous physichal and psychological state of mind is extremely fragile it was a nice solution IMO.
It´s HIS Body that gets damaged the whole time HE gets the punches kicks and special attacks. But the Taros give him the strenght to fight back. Later in the series ryoutaro even trains to endure even more beating and tries to learn how to fight.
With Liner form some of it comes to play. Still hes not fighting all by himself but hes in charge of fighting. He says what is done he controls the Imagin this time not the over way around. In Liner Form Ryoutaro learned to use the personal powers in a way without being just "The Body" for the Taros.
