True Decade ended on a short note that many Rider fans hate and it did leave a few small plot holes and cliff hangers....better than what Kiva did though...but it's still a good series. The Kuuga, Hibiki, Shinkenger and Rider War World arcs are by far the best in the series.
If feel that if you just look at a series in a one set way and base it around what you expect it to be and not judge it for both it's good and bad points...well it makes for one poor judgment call on a series.

The ending of the series left a bad taste for me.
I think mostly because I rolled with a lot of stuff that I otherwise would not have (the alt's, the goddamn FFR's, Diend, etc.) because despite these things the show started strong and could often be very entertaining. But even moreso, I honestly felt at the end of the road so to speak, there would be a satisfying conclusion to things at even if not a ending that made it all mean something. ..and I was totally satisfied with the idea that the series would lead directly into the Dai-Shocker movie and that would be the conclusion.
Now it's just a mess. Or rather, more of a mess.
As for TV Asahi's stance, yeah wtf?

A while back I mentioned that one of the flaws of Decade was that the fans expected too much out of it. Sure some of us didn't like the different takes on the stories. But it couldn't be helped since most of the original ones were already told. As for it ending on a cliffhanger, it was a huge risk knowing what the backlash might be. But at least I respect Toei for having the guts to take this kind of gamble.

What are you talking about? There is photgraphic proof that this will follow the finale cliffhanger........just b/c they're going to another world after the "Rider War no Sekai" doesn't mean it's not following the finale cliffhanger. At least not yet, the movie must be seen to see how it works out.

Holy wow. Rainbowman sounds absolutely amazing. It is now on my list of 70's Freak Out tokusatsu that I intend to catch up on some day when I can trap enough toku geeks in one room and provide sufficient beer.
