So I finally finished watching the whole show last night. The ending itself seemed pretty expected (perhaps 'inevitable' was the word? It is a fable, after all), but the way they get to that point really surprised me a number of times. The whole story is so tightly written, it's impressive. Even the bits of episodes that don't seem to move the plot clearly contribute in some way to the emotional 'truth' of the final episode.

(So anyway, I guess I have to finish Kuuga now.)
