Eh I wasn't asking a serious continuity question. There just isn't such a thing with crossovers. Toei usually insist that the returning characters are the originals and not AU versions, even when that can't be the case as with dead or depowered characters (or all the times that Black and RX appear at the same time).

I was just surprised Zolda was so prominant. It's rare that they push an old secondary Rider like that. The only similar instance I can think of is when Zerenos returned in SHT GP. Hopefuly it means one of Zolda's actors might come back.

If anything it feels more like the beginning of All Riders vs Dai Shocker, where Decade and Amazon enter an arena to fight, complete with intros by a commentator. Considering the trailers seem to be going with a "select your character" thing, I'm guessing it's all some game world or something.

GokaiRed is alongside the other reds in the front image. The full Dairanger team is shown fighting. Based on an old scan, it seems like they'll face Ex-Aid's team (It shows Ex-Aid vs Ryuuranger).
Urataros is actually facing a 2nd team of Sentai Reds rather than Ex-Aid's team like the trailer suggested (Ninja Red, Battle Japan, ShinkenRed and maybe Goseired, or some other red with white pants and red chest).

The new summary also mentions that Ex-Aid finds Kujou Kiriya among the heroes fighting in the death game. Also, curiously, rather than saying that they're from the Game world, just say that they're mysterious enemies. I guess they might have forgotten they already spoilered that? Or we could be looking at a rewrite, although I doubt that with True Brave running around.

I hope it isn't like that at all because the tournament in All Riders vs Dai-Shocker felt completely disconnected from the rest of the movie. The Riders didn't talk there aside from catchphrases and attack names, and they were supposed to be killed after being defeated, but no one seemed to act like that happened until after the tournament. The tournament here seems much more important, especially with Ex-Aid's team being featured in so many images.

Plot really seems to be about Game World vs Real World, with the heroes initially locked in a death game and unable to protect Earth, although the returning Lazer alongside other veteran heroes take up Earth's defense while that happens. True Brave is Brave from the Game World. The written summary suggests they need to win in the game in order to level up and gain enough power to defeat the villains.

Ex-Aid's team mates in the movie, Aoninger and Zolda, have their actors back, so BeetBuster is likely back too. Surprisingly, both Pallad and Genm seem to be in the movie too, with Pallad fighting alongside the Ex-Aid Riders, while Genm somehow seems to have made Ryugen and Specter turn heel again, although they seem to be suit-only.

And new character, Shocker Leader, the 3rd!

His monster form is Giant Spider Great Leader. The original Great Leader had a Spider-like form as Black Satan's Great Leader, which is likely why the suit-only Stronger seems to have some kind of role in the movie.

Thinking about the movie's plot, I guess that Genm and his team likely are actually their counterparts from the Game World, rather than the real ones. The teams fighting in the tournament are likely the real world ones vs the game world ones.

The head is different but bellow it the suit seems to be just a repaint. I'd never notice if it someone didn't point it out due to the cape and new head. I wonder what this means for the movie though. Maybe there's another new Rider or monster?
