Captain America #25 [SPOILERS!]

If you're collecting Captain America right now, I advise you to pick up your copy of Captain America #25 because that **** is going to fly off the shelves. Hmm... interesting. I doubt that someone will replace as Captain America II, like Barry Allen to Wally West, The Flash.

wow..............that's really something (in ideals and behavior) the "Superman of Marvel" is dying? that's really something, does anybody else smell a retcon in say a year tops?

Personally I smell a bait and switch here, perhaps a elaborate plot to by Tony to get him out of the spotlight until things cool off a bit. But I don't think Punishers going to be the new Cap, I mean they brought Bucky back as the Winter Soldier. He seems like the more likely choice. And it wouldn't be the first time they replaced Cap either, the USAgent anybody?

I believe Frank Castle will be the new Cap. He'll tote around big guns and kill "enemies of America" or something.

It's crap like this that makes me loath mainstream comics. Ultimately it's all about the mighty dollar. Wasn't Civil War with it's five thousand tie-ins enough?

But we all have to remember is that this is from one of the Big Two, so Cap will be back as soon as Marvel is in need of some cash. Just look at guys like Hal Jordan or Jason Todd over in the DC universe*groans* Death is fleeting I guess. I'm suprised Uncle Ben hasn't been brought back as a hipster Spidey clone.
