You actually read it, so it's ok. I've just seen tons of people declaring how stupid it is, then saying that they didn't actually read the comic.

Well after todays comics I guess I have to do a 180. cap is "Dead", the whole "He's in the Raft" thing was a trap for the New Avengers... which we still have to read how they got out of. and "The Confession" which was a heartbreaking story on Tony's part showed a "Dead" Captain America.

On a side note the final Panel of Punisher: War journal was amazing. in the panel before he is standing in a crowded NY street and sees the News of Caps "Death" on the times sqaure jumbotron, and then in the final panel the Street around him is deserted. Frank castle suddenly feels very alone.

New update: Apparently that Punisher story will deal with Frank infiltrating a group of white supremacists who dress in a black and white version of cap's uniform. So he might not actually be taking up the mantle permanently.
