Yeah we all know they are the enemies but come on, there are/maybe good points in them. How they were designed, how do they kill people. Choose and discuss those.

The Orphenochs were not only some of the best Kaijin, but also some of the best portrayals of monsters I've ever seen in any show. The Quote I believe that summed up my thoughts about them was from Mari in the movie...

"Even Among the Humans are guys who don't act human."

I think that was the point of the whole series. Where the most deplorable character was actually a Rider, and one of the most virtuous till the end at least was a Orphenoch. The Orphenoch's weren't the bad guys, and the humans weren't the good guys. Rather there were both good and bad guys in both camps.
