Anyone here like Goseiger?

To go back to on topic...

What I'm noticing about Goseiger that makes me like it is four main things:

1) A lot of the little things are done well. For example, how each monster of the week, even the commander-level monsters, have somehow tied into the theme of the movie they're named after.

2) The show bookends very well. Each arc (so far) has begun and ended VERY well.

3) I actually LIKE Alata, if only because it's interesting how different a Red he is compared to the "I am leader and thus most awesome" or "YAAAAAAARGH! CHARGE!" types we normally get.

... that's only three things. :(

I think it's a major problem for Goseiger that TVN doesn't translate or even note the monster name-puns. It makes the monsters seem totally random when they actually have some pretty amusing thought put behind them.

D'OH!

I forgot to say, "I really like GoseiKnight too."

I mean, seriously, I like the fact that GoseiKnight's special ability is "Is Not An Idiot".

Take, for example, the scene where the Yuuma have counter-backstabbed Bladerun and Makuin taunts him with the real Erurei Box. In pretty much every other Sentai ever made, the team and Sixth Ranger would just stand there, talking about how cruel and horrible the bad guys were to treat each other that way.

Instead, GoseiKnight sees Makuin going, "Neener Neener" and decides it's the perfect opportunity to yoink the Goseiger's power-up back. It's a moment where it leaves you wondering why more heroes don't take advantage of a moment like that.

I liked Goseiger

I think Goseiger was Underrated The more I watched it the more I liked it and you don't get a better Villian than Buredoran

I agree (about Buredoran/Brajira). Plus it's sad when he turns out to be the most interesting character & the best villain of the entire series.

I enjoyed Goseiger... maybe not my favorite... but it had some of my most favorite fights.

and call me cheesy, but I'm a sucker for those speeches they give... they are EPIC. lol

I loved it, although I wouldn't put it on par with my top favourite series like Jetman and GoGoFive. the only thing I hated about Goseiger was the Yuumajuu arc. I know most people are going to disagree with me but I just think the Gosei Angels are a good portrayal of what Super Sentai heroes are supposed to be: cheerful, optimistic and always talk about how miracles can happen to bring back smiles to frightened little children's faces. not to mention heroes who watches over weak people from afar. sure, Shinkengers and Gokaigers are "badass" but they're all like a bunch of people who rather think about themselves than others, save for a few of them.

I really liked it.

Goseiger was great in it's own way, as with any Sentai. You can't just look at the surface and judge it from there - you really have to look deeper into these series to see what makes them unique.

I actually do not have a Sentai that I have not liked, and probably will never have one. ;)
