Giant no. I couldn't stand episode 1 but figured I'd give it another chance a little farther in and the next one I saw was episode 8 because everyone was raving about the new mechs. What do I get? Alata doodling to pull mechs from out of Bandai's pocket. On a similar note, GoseiKnight's debut mech fight (which again, everyone was raving about) looked like nothing more than a game of bumper-cars. I know Toei can do better than this but, they sadly choose not to and prefer to let this pale imitation of Gingaman run on auto-pilot and most likely crash and burn.

A lot of the behind-the-scenes stuff has also soured my opinion of the series, as a whole.

I wanted to like it. I really do. But its so frustrating. The cast is almost completely unlikeable & the writing just seems incredibly mediocre.


Awesome Zords though. Saban, please take this footage & turn it into something really awesome.

Same here. There are moments where it's like "Go GoseiRed! Beat Dereputa's ass!" and then there are moments where it's like "Cheerleading episode? I think I'll skip this":laugh:
