Anyone hate Kamen Rider Kiva?

I pretty much gave up.

I said this too in my recent R5 column that I applaud Inoue for proving me wrong and actually turning some of his worst cliches on their heads. However, it happened too little too late for me to really care. I can only imagine the rushed ending we're going to get this year as a result of the Den-O aping. I have to ask though; Am I the only one who got the impression that Inoue really wanted to do the whole show in 1986?

Another thing that really bugged me was the design work. Okay, IXA was nice and Kiva Emperor was actually kinda badass (save for the crap effects with the Rider Kick) but come on, Rising IXA? I'm sorry but that suit has to go up there with DaiBouken and Flash Titan in my book as one of the Ugliest Abominations in Tokusatsu. (I know that's a bit harsh but I just never caught on.) What about Saga? Suit looks nice, gimmick was original...but his finisher has to be the laziest attempt at being cool I've ever seen.

I can see so much of Faiz in this, yet I don't see why people are calling this the return of Agito. For one, we have no annoying kids destroying plot points left and right :sweat: Even still, I'm not going to miss it when it goes.

Kiva is pretty good. Its not the best, but it definitely aint the worst. I was really hyped in the beginning, then it got a bit boring. But, now its getting really good so Im liking it.

It's an interesting show. I'll have more to say when it finishes, but I like it so far.

Kiva Rocks and I stopped watching at Episode 10 but I can't wait to watch the whole season.

Kamen Rider Kiva is the first KR series I come to truly love, because I got pretty disappointed when I watched KR Blade and KR Kabuto.
however, the only character which remains badass is nevertheless Taiga.
I think he deserves to inherit Kiva's powers more than Wataru a.k.a. sissyboy.
also, Otoya is the one and only true IXA user!
I loved Nago, but after he found out Wataru is Kiva and lost his IXA possession to Kengo, he was just another plain stupid watered down character.
I respected Megumi as IXA, but other than that, she was just there for the sake of being there.
oh and as far as the Fangire goes, Maya > Mio. enough said.

Only rider series I've ever gotten so sick of I had to drop it... Just didn't have anything to like about it any more in the end. The designs were bad, the CG was bad, the writing... Ugh.

ugh i just have a mixed feeling about this series.

sometimes i hate it and sometimes i love it. the first 20 episodes were boring.

I actually enjoy Kivat's little historic facts, though I guess not everyone can appriciate those kinds of things. Besides it only last a little while

I like Kiva but sometimes it can be boring and they throw a lot of pointless things in the show. I also thought that the show would be more darker than it turned out but its still good. Den-o popping out during the show and making references throughout didn't help either.

I think we are in for a badass ending though.

It's no Agito, no New Gen has even come close to surpassing Agito but I do admit it's Inoue best work since Agito.

It's not perfect and I really blame the directors and producers who don't seem to care to explain things. I think Inoue is doing a decent job but there's way too many coincidences like people bumping in to each other, getting knocked out etc. (Which I think Inoue has no control of). Direction is really lacking depth which makes its inferior to almost lots of the previous shows. Everything is rushed and what's with Kiva never fighting at night! He's a vampire for god sakes!

Kiva could have been put together better but as for the story, I think its great.
