2014 Sentai: Ressha Sentai Tokkyuger - News/Rumor Thread

I'd so much prefer if they just pre-emptied that dancing show before ToQger just so we can have the two episodes together. That would be so much more perfect...

Double posting with new information. It seems likely that ToQ 46 will air this Saturday (February 7th) between 12PM to 4PM JST as there's a blank in the TV Asahi schedule thats been cleared for "adjustments".

:O_O: That's a wow if u ask me. In my area that's late Friday night into early Saturday morning if this turns out to be true (also, that's around the same time TNA Impact is on tv here in USA). But, like I said on twitter earlier today, I have faith that ToQger will finish as scheduled and it looks like the Lord himself may have given us the solution so I thank you.

Except then they'd have to find a way to broadcast that pre-empted episode later, which would still screw up the schedule.

Couldn't they just postpone it instead? I mean, Ninninger has a set date already, and it would be weird if they changed it now, so it's logical for them not to postpone ToQger's last episode for Sunday's normal ToQger slot, but release it before that slot. Say we had Drive been pre-empted instead, they wouldn't have to screw up the schedule. They would just show the episode next weekend, normally. Same could work with that show.

It would still screw up the schedule. Ninninger's not the only show with a set date. They probably have dates set for upcoming series weeks in advance. If they postpone the dance series then they'd have to postpone the premiere of the next Battle Spirits and that might not go over so well with the companies sponsoring that show, they could lose money, etc.

The next Battle Spirits has already been announced too and even had commercials and it'll take that timeslot. It wouldn't be any different from the situation with Toqger right now.

Ah, I see. Well, then.. at least we get two episodes in two days. That's something!

Shocking Developments on Final airdates

Not so fast guys!! Other forums are saying 46 is on for Sunday but no 47 which means that the final episode of ToQger as far as I'm concerned may not be seen until it's released on DVD and that folks is in June.

But I have a scenario and it's that the March TV Guide for Japan has not yet been released. So, if ToQger 46 airs this Sunday (Saturday for us) and Ninninger premieres on schedule; then we'll expect the final episode of ToQger sometime in March. That's all I'm saying right now.

I have faith that ToQger will end with either 46 episodes airing on TV or all 47 episodes 'cause no matter what 2/8/2015 (2/7/2015 for us in the US) is the last airdate for ToQger. You can bank on that!!

What the hell, so they're debunking the finale episode of Toqger and airing ep 46 this Sunday, then Ninninger as scheduled? That's weird. It wouldn't make sense for them to take a March date to air the finale cause that would cut the momentum of Ninninger. I would rather have them skip 46 and just air the finale. Either way it just shows how unimportant Toqger is. Good riddance to that.
