2013 Rider: Kamen Rider Gaim - News/Rumors thread

Kamen Rider doesn't have a singular all-inclusive definition. Because the series have been allowed to branch out thematically and have been handled by different writers and such, the term "Kamen Rider" is no longer defined by one series' definition but is instead changed to suit the need of the writer. This has been for the best IMO. We have gotten a large variety of characters and settings due to Kamen Rider being treated more as a classification and less of an unrealistic idealization. Series like Ryuki, Gaim, Kabuto, Kiva, Decade, Faiz, and Blade would not exist in the same capacity (if at all) if Riders were ONLY allowed to be "Good Guys".

Hmmm this is surprising...

5th episode: Revival! The friendship of Strawberry Arms! (10th November)
6th episode: The Durian Rider joins the battle! (17th November)

Note that there will be no Gaim airing on the 3rd.

I'm guessing if Invitto's lead is Griton, then Gaim will get the Strawberry Lock Seed from him (the guy is seen holding it in the next episode preview). I am surprised that with no information leading to it at all, the Durian Rider is debuting in Ep 6, hopefully we'll get some scans by this week.

EDIT: This might be from last month's scans, but just a close up of Griton's face plate.

Speaking of Gridon, the official Gashapon Website revealed that his henshin phrase will be: "Donguri Arms! Never Give Up!".

Interesting, i'm guessing the phrase will be in English like with Baron.

Now we need an auxiliary Ranger to hold the Ovirapoo Battery and that person and the Durian Rider can duke it out just to spite Black Fang.

Let's see...

In W we had; Cyclone (Novel/Game only), Eternal, Joker and Skull.
In Kiva we had; Kiva and Dark Kiva using pretty much the same belt.
In Kabuto everyone had the same basic belt.
In Blade, Blade and Garren shared belt. Leangle shared his with the movie Riders.
In Ryuki everyone had the same belt.

You forgot about Kamen Rider Birth. Prototype and Regular versions.

In W, Cyclone/Joker and Joker were basically the same person anyway. Plus he got the "Joker Belt" at the end of it all. He just had a different belt that allowed him to transform on his own. Eternal and Skull are "Movie Riders" so they don't really count. :anime:

Kiva hmmmm, Dark Kiva puts his Kivat-bat in upside down, plus he has six Fueslots to hold the six Fuestles. While Kiva only holds three.

Kabuta no, because Kamen Rider The Bee had a brace, Kamen Rider Drake used a gun, and Kamen Rider Sasword had the Sasword Zecter.

Blade, Blade and Garren shared the same belt.

Ryuki, yeah I can agree with that. So that was the last time every rider wore the same belt.

10 years ago, so is this a little homage to that? What I was getting at, is that the "Primary and Secondary Riders" usually don't have the same type of "transformation" methods. Hasn't been like that in 10 years anyway. :anime:
