2013 Rider: Kamen Rider Gaim - News/Rumors thread

[Amon]

I wonder if we will get a crossover special during Spring 2014? Next year is the 15th anniversary of the Heisei series and it's also Super Sentai's 25th anniversary of the Heisei series.

Super Sentai doesn't really celebrate the Heisei division though. And both Decade and now this tv special seem to be celebrating the Heisei series per number of shows, rather than years.

How many forms do we already know about from the catalogs? What, 6+ lock-seeds for Gaim himself? Or are they distributed through the Riders?

Plus why is Gaim starting in October?

Yggdrasil- The evil corporation in Kamen Rider Gaim

The origin of the name Yggdrasil

In Norse mythology, Yggdrasil is an immense tree that is central in Norse cosmology

Theme of this year is fruit

Fruit from the tree...

So all the Gaim Rider's likely originate from that tree/corporation.

It could be their unintended life force.

That might be the case, considering KR in general. Rider 1 and 2 were humans modified by Shocker, the 555 Rider belts were created by Smart Brain, Blade Riders used the Undead to power their transformations and attacks, OOO's medals are literally from the Greeed's bodies, so on. Would be surprising if their powers/origin wasn't tied to the villains.

TV special confirmed, Gaim is appearing in it too. So the rumors about the whole Heisei celebration thing is probably true.

This isn't old news, is it? lol, I've been outta the loop for a while.

Even thugh we've heard about it for a while, it's still good to have it confirmed. Thanks very much. I wonder what the point of it will be? Was there some sort of delay in pre-production for Gaim and these are being made to fill the gap?

It isn't easy being a Kamen Rider.

You either lose your memories, go insane, die from prolonged use, die from use in general

So far, I think Gaim has 3 announced, Banana Knight has two, the other two with actors have 1 each, and Acorn has 3. ... I think. Is someone keeping track of all the catalog scans somewhere? They're not in the merch thread yet.

I swear I'll get these names down eventually.

We don't know why specifically, but we do know that Wizard is going to be longer and there's going to be a special after it, which could be "why" or "because" maybe.

Just got the clear scans up in the merch thread now.

I posted all the (I'mm pretty sure) Toy Catalog stuff we have you far here. I didn't get the post up showing Gitron's 3 forms just yet.
