They make me feel like I'm looking back at much, much older suits (not a good thing, to me) and their pirate-ness is a bit corny... but I like 'em! The weapons are awesome! My only disappointment is seeing the absolute confirmation of the Red-Green-Blue-Yellow-Pink team of five that has been seen time after time.

Surprised that we are getting a green ranger for an anniversary, so far it's been black the past two times.
And digging the suits =D
And yeah, the rumor about the blue being female and yellow being male wouldve been nice.
Heck a yellow male wouldve been nice all around XD

Considering what we know, Yellow and Blue may have to crossdress. The Yellow suit, while obviously a girl, still looks slightly buff, which is what we were told in rumors.

It also looks like the story about AkaRed leading the 34 teams to battle, was dead on. Mobairetsu and Ranger Keys are the henshin device.

so following the suggestion, the cute one on the right must be the pink ranger

and the childish girl must be the Yellow ranger, right? am i wrong?

Also,dont know about guys, have a feeling if by chance, this show could be episodic. Or at least small arcs. I got a Bouken feel after seeing the map in the picture XD

Just my thoughts on the suits:
The visors shape seems very similar to Gekirangers (especially GoukaiRed).
The shape and colouring of the GoukaiGun seems similar to MantanGun from Go-Onger.
The coat-like suit and the bottom half of the suit definitely seems to be influenced from Shinkenger.
And from Goseiger, the emblem on the forehead and the golden designs on the front part of the coat.

Just to mention that I did not watch much 'old' sentai so yeah...

I'm surprised they opted to go for green over black for a pirate theme. Black and gold seem like appropriate choices, but the Japanese have never made sense to me. EDIT 1: The more I think about it, the more it makes sense to NOT use black. It's a natural color to use for pirate suits, and it would make a drastically different suit than the rest if it were one of the five.

Does anyone know anything about additional rangers? I get my hopes up every time, but an orange ranger seems like it would fit into this look and theme.

EDIT 2: I can't help but notice the third consecutive season of non-specific pant colors. Black for everyone, then white, now black again?
