So i'm thinking of diving in and owning my first Optimus Prime.

I want to go big and thinking of getting the MP-10 rerelease Optimus Prime with brighter colors.

Checked my ToysRus today. Not there but I did see MasterPiece Thundercracker.


Ebay prices are ridiculous too. It's supposed to slightly smaller than the original Masterpiece prime too.

Infact everything is pricey. Even the Transformers Generations Prime. I just saw that and the knock off city commander armor go for 72 dollars.

That version of MP-10 hasn't been released in America yet. Supposedly its set to come out around the holiday season; by that point the prices should be more reasonable.

TFWiki has Takara MP-10 listed for re-release for October. How reliable is TFWiki?

I think it's pretty accurate, but it's not up to TFWiki if it gets released then.

I thought that at SDCC the projected release was Sept/Oct, which could be where TFWiki got such info, but until it is released, or Hasbro announces a release date, that's the best info we have.

That quote has nothing to do with with the Hasbro MP-10, it's referring to a possible re-release of the Japanese figure (that's why the quote says Takara).
