E3 2019: Kingdom Hearts 3 DLC Trailer
In this day and age, you should have known Kingdom Hearts 3 wasn’t truly the end, even if it does wrap up a “trilogy.” There is DLC on the way, and it was confirmed at the Kingdom Hearts Ochestra: World of Tres performance in Los Angeles last night. Attendees of the concert got a surprise reveal of the DLC trailer on the big screen, and though they told everyone “no photography,” somebody sneaked a cell phone video and uploaded it that night.
Fortunately, rather than fight the upload, Square did the smart thing and uploaded their own version a bit early. We’ll probably see this trailer at some of the conferences later today, but why wait — it’s here now.
This trailer displays a conversation between young Xehanort and the Master of Masters at the Keyblade Graveyard, and another chat between Luxord and Xigbar. Yeah, I have no idea who they are either.
The DLC, which is officially titled Kingdom Hearts III: ReMind, will be released on Playstation 4 and XBox One this winter. “This winter” could either mean as soon as November 2019 or as late as March 2020. We’ll let you know when Square’s release date is more concrete. Their E3 press conference happens tomorrow at 6 PM Pacific / 9 PM Eastern.
