Captain America Civil War: New Footage Debuts Online
The latest TV spot for Captain America: Civil War has made its way on the internet, and it is quite special. You can check out the latest clip, which has some tantalizing new footage and action shots below.
Some of the new footage gives a greater sense of the conflict between Team Iron Man and Team Captain America. Falcon appears to be outright challenging to Tony Stark, asking him, “How long are you going to play both sides?” Tony Stark comes to his own defense in the spot, saying, “I’m doing what has to be done to stop something worse.” It seems Tony Stark is coming out of retirement to possibly redeem his mistakes from Avengers: Age of Ultron, but we shall see.
One particularly impressive action beat shows Cap and Black Panther getting into a tussle during the airport fight sequence. It shows Panther using his claws and suit to overpower Captain America and his vibranium shield. It makes sense, considering that Panther is from Wakanda, a nation rich in vibranium. His suit and claws are likely made from the metal.
Anticipation is certainly building for the Marvel Studios release, which is due out in just over a month. Captain America: Civil War hits theaters on May 6.
