The Marvels second trailer reveals villain

The Marvels unleashed its second trailer and it reveals a lot on what to expect. Director show us what she can do in the two minute and 30 second long trailer. Her last movie which is Candyman

The biggest complaint against Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel is she lacks personality.  In addition, the new trailer reveals her ability to be goofy, vulnerable, and relatable. It is marking a departure from her days as the cold-hearted Cat Lady in the first film.Iman Vellani is still one of the best casted live action actress in  MCU because not only she is a fan of the character she is a complete Marvel Geek. Besides, Marvel’s recognition of her geekiness has led to her being offered the opportunity to write the next Miss Marvel Comics.

Moveover, Teyonah Parris‘ role as Monica Rambeau in Wandavision left fans impressed, and now she assumes one of the three lead roles in this movie.

Dar-Benn is revealed to be the villain of this movie. This character was originally male in the comics but now he will be played by Tom Hiddleston‘s wife Zawe Ashton. I don’t think this is for politics and diversity, Its a calculated move because there is a growing male audience who is tired of seeing men as main villains of female lead movies. He is not that of a popular character so changing his gender will have a smaller outcry. They are tired of the message that men are evil and women are good. Dar-Benn is the leader of the Kree Empire and she wants to claim something she believes originally hers.

The Marvels Trailer 2

In a far planet, Captain Marvel is confronting her new found enemy, Dar-Benn. Dar-Benn reveals a bangle similar to Kamala’s and wore it.The moment it activates, she changes places with Kamala and Monica. Carol ends up inside Kamala’s bedroom which is full of Her merchandise. Kamala ends up in Monica’s astronaut Suit and Monica have to fight Dar-Benn and her minions. Everytime they use their powers, they end up switching places. The three Marvels will have to be in the same place.  They will use this tactic so they can strategize how they switch places to save the universe. See these women save the universe this coming November 10, 2023.

It's disappointing that this picture appears to have a different standard than several of the MCU's mid-tier features. I observed the trailer received negative reviews, and I believe the film will suffer the same fate. The current strike may also stymie promotional efforts, making it an uphill battle for what should be a fun film. In this case, the marketing team must use extreme caution. Instead of highlighting feminist issues, they should promote it as an action-packed, entertaining film with female stars. They seek to attract a bigger audience without the stigma of box office poison by emphasizing the entertaining aspect and downplaying the political angle.

To those who are review bombing The Marvels without giving it a fair shot, your actions are unfair to the hardworking cast and crew who poured their hearts into making this movie. Let's support creativity and diversity in the film industry instead of tearing it down without reason. It's sad to see people mindlessly disliking a film they haven't experienced. Constructive criticism is one thing, but spreading hate without any basis is just unnecessary

Brie Larson's Captain Marvel finally shows her fun and relatable side, and I'm loving it. It's a refreshing change from her previous portrayal. Also, Iman Vellani as Miss Marvel is spot-on! Her passion for the character really shines through, The likes defeated the dislikes. I know comicgaters will attack it because they thought they got victory with Ant Man...but I will fight for this. I will debate the crap out of those sexist people.

Everyone has the right to express themselves, both positively and negatively. Its troubling that Marvel were truly blocking critical comments on social media. Critique censorship can create an echo chamber, limiting prospects for growth and improvement.

Any creative endeavor, including movies, need constructive critique. It enables filmmakers and studios to determine which portions of their work were well received by the public and which sections may require development. If Marvel censors unfavorable comments, they may lose valuable feedback and be unable to generate even better content in the future. If they cease utilizing politics in their films, the detractors will go away.

The second trailer's plot is mind-blowing! The whole concept of Captain Marvel, Miss Marvel, and Monica constantly switching places during battles sounds like an exciting and unique twist. I'm already trying to imagine how they'll strategize to save the universe with this tactic.

Teyonah Parris impressed me in Wandavision, and now she's taking on a lead role in The Marvels? Count me in! It's great to see Marvel recognizing and utilizing her talent. I can't wait to see her in action alongside Captain Marvel and Miss Marvel.

I wonder if Dar-Benn and Loki will meet in the mcu someday..., The actors are married IRL.

I enjoy the theme song, Beasty Boys...intergalactic planetary...that was my old song in high school. Iman is clearly having the time of her life right now, and seeing her having fun throughout the film. I wasn't looking forward to this, but the premise is fantastic!

The trailer's depiction of the idea of switching appears to be a strong foundation for a lively first act. I agree that the leads appear to be good, and I'm especially excited to see Miss Marvel receive the advancement and narrative she deserves as a result of her outstanding performance on the program. Let's hope this picture breaks Marvel and DC's recent box office slump. With such intriguing components, it has the potential to be a success! Keeping our fingers crossed for success!
