There’s A FIRENADO Coming From Uncork’d
We haven’t heard much from schlock masters Uncork’d Entertainment lately, but they squeaked one offering in before Christmas: the gift of a FIRENADO. It’s what it sounds like.
It’s always been the desire of mankind to control the weather, but we keep heading in the opposite direction and making the uncontrollable forces of nature WORSE to deal with. If only there were four scientists who had the knowhow to invent a device that could eliminate things like hurricanes and tornadoes before they started. Wouldn’t that be great? Of course, this is assuming they didn’t calculate something wrong and create a gigantic tornado made of fire that threatens the world.
All they can do now is evacuate the citizens in the Firenado’s path, but one house turns out to be full of organized criminals. Now they’re stuck there as hostages while the Firenado twists ever so closer. Darn.
FIRENADO was directed by Scott Jeffrey and Rhys Frake-Waterfield. No actors or producers are mentioned, go figure. The movie will be released on digital January 3, 2023, followed by a DVD release in February.
FIRENADO tells of four scientists that uncover a ground-breaking technology capable of controlling weather. On the first use of the device, it malfunctions and creates a Fire Tornado. As the Firenado leaves a wake of destruction, the group assist in evacuating nearby residents but stumble upon into an organized crime home invasion. Stuck between a rock and a hard place; the group struggle to survive the two threats.
“Scott and Rhys have done it again. FIRENADO is rip-roaring entertainment!.” said Keith Leopard, President of Uncork’d Entertainment. “With great effects, wonderful cinematography and some fun performances, it’s a perfect fit for Uncork’d.”
