Wait, the Hulk is playing a cannibal now? That’s kind of genius. Ferrigno has that quiet, massive presence that would make anyone nervous in real life. I bet he doesn’t even need to act angry—he just stands there and people feel threatened. The plot sounds basic, but if they lean into the horror instead of comedy, it might actually work. Malina Weissman is solid too, she was good in that Netflix show. I’ll probably stream it day one. Not expecting Oscar stuff, just want some solid kills and tension. Ferrigno eating jerky made from people is the line that sold me.

Lou Ferrigno hasn’t done much lately, so him jumping into horror as a backwoods cannibal is hilarious in the best way. Big muscle guy running a jerky business? Come on, that’s gold. The teenagers getting forced on vacation and then hunted is every 80s slasher setup, but with Ferrigno as the killer it feels fresh. Director’s first English movie too, so maybe it’ll be rough around the edges, which I actually like in low-budget horror. I’ll watch it just to see if Ferrigno does his own stunts. Bet he crushes it.

Ferrigno is a legend in bodybuilding, but acting in horror? Not sure he’s got the range for creepy. The cannibal pig farmer idea is cool on paper, but if it’s just him growling and chasing kids, it might get old fast. Still, Uncork’d puts out some fun stuff, so maybe they pull it off. The cast has some young talent, so hopefully they carry the emotional parts. I’ll give it a shot on digital, but I’m not holding my breath for anything amazing. Just want to see if the jerky scenes are as weird as they sound.

Nah, this is gonna be trash and I’m still watching. Lou Ferrigno as a cannibal sounds like a fever dream someone had after watching too many 80s action reruns. The plot is straight out of a thousand other movies, but him being the monster changes everything. Imagine the size difference when he grabs one of the teens. That alone is worth the price. Uncork’d usually does okay with these straight-to-digital horrors, so I expect jump scares and some gore. March 3 is locked in my calendar now. Ferrigno deserves a fun late-career role like this.

The guy is 73 or something and they cast him as a backwoods killer? Respect for taking the risk, but I don’t know if he can pull off scary anymore. The idea of him making human jerky is funny more than frightening. Maybe it’s supposed to be campy. The young cast might save it if they act scared enough. I’ll check reviews first before streaming. If people say it’s actually tense, I’ll give it a go. Otherwise, it might just be a weird one-off.
