Amanda the Adventurer will remind you why many adults hate children’s shows. These colorful, innocent shows make children happy, but they bring the worst out of adults for some unknown reason. Remember the documentary where Barney’s voice actor gets death threats? The friendly high, pitched voice can be delightful to children, but to teens and adults, it’s torturing. The characters of shows marketed to toddlers also tend to have these big soulless eyes. Amanda the Adventurer feels like a love child between Dora The Explorer, Doki Doki Literature Club, and The Ring. This Independent horror game has captured the internet like a storm. Almost every single popular videogame streamer and their grandma has been playing it. I spent two days of my life trying to unlock every ending of this disturbing horror game. It is scary, but the puzzles and the lore make me want to open every possible ending there. The replay value captures my focus, and I want to keep playing until I know all its mysteries. You

The gentleman in the beret in this article’s cover photo is my newest interview subject, Barney Burman. Barney has been active as a makeup artist for almost four decades now. Coming from a family of makeup artists, Barney started as a teenager, and isn’t showing any signs of stopping. That’s fantastic as he’s a versatile designer who has worked on all sorts of amazing projects, most notably 2009’s Star Trek, which won him a Best Makeup And Hairstyling Oscar, which he shared with Mindy Hall, who’s next to him in the cover photo, and Joel Harlow. Yoichi Asakawa, Remember that creepy little boy from Ringu? Do you know the boy who watched that VHS tape that will kill him in 7 days? That name sounds familiar because you had seen him before if you watched Ringu. In the American version. He is all grown up now because he is Sadako‘s Survivor for the next episode of Dead by Daylight. He will not have the likeness of the actor Rikiya Ôtaka because the actor is retired. His Parents Reiko Asakawa and Ryuji Takayama are more popular characters but Behavior cannot afford the likeness of  Nanako Matsushima.  Also  Hiroyuki Sanada is too expensive now because he is a Hollywood actor now. 2002’s The Ring is regarded as one of the finest horror films of recent memory. Though the Japanese version it was based on is technically superior, its American remake managed to capture the same tension and creepy vibe of the original.
