Super Smash Bros. For Wii U Release Date Announced
Nintendo has finally announced that the Wii U version of the latest Super Smash Bros. game will be available in North America on Nov. 21, Europe on Dec. 5 and Australia on Dec. 6. The release dates were announced along with a declaration by Nintendo that Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS has sold 2.8 million copies worldwide following its release in North America and Europe earlier last week. Nintendo coupled its announcement with the promise of a simultaneous release of a number bonus materials including the Nintendo Gamecube adapter, which will allow players to connect GC or Wavebird controllers to the Wii U console, and a new Super Smash Bros. emblazoned GC controller which will be sold in a bundle along with Super Smash Bros. Wii U and a Gamecube adapter. Nintendo is also launching its Amiibo line of compatible figurines for the Wii U on the same day of the game’s release in North America.
