Star Wars fever is in full swing, both on the big screen with The Force Awakens, and on the small screen with Star Wars Rebels. The hit show has been doing well in Season 2, and has already been renewed for Season 3. To add to the ever growing tidal wave of momentum, Star Wars Rebels is now on the cover of TV Guide Magazine, where an interview with series creator/producer Dave Filoni bears all about not just the season, but what it is to be a Star Wars fan.
“For my generation, it’s the norm to be into Star Wars,” says Filoni. “There was no such thing as a ‘Star Wars fan.’ You were just a kid lucky enough to grow up with this awesome entertainment.” He also notes about how Star Wars Rebels gets to go darker than it did in the first season, adding, “We do get rather dark and more serious this season, because the story has to go that way,”
You can read the full interview above. Star Wars Rebels is airing now on Disney XD, and Star Wars The Force Awakens will arrive in theaters December 18th. It seems like it is a good time to be a Star Wars fans, and the Force is with them.
