Psychonauts 2 Reaches $1 Million Raised On Fig
Psychonauts has been in the news a lot recently. With a VR title coming, and Psychonauts 2 now being crowdfunded, things are looking up for the fans of this cult-classic series.
On the Psychonauts 2 front, the game has already reached an incredible milestone on Fig, the crowdfunding site. The title has already grossed over $1.8 million dollars from backers, which is over halfway to it’s goal of $3.3 million. The campaign has 33 days left to go in its run.
For those who don’t remember, the reasons fans wanted Psychonauts 2 was because the original game ended on a cliffhanger. Thus, Tim Schaffer, and the team at Double Fine, want to finally tell the story of what happened nex:
“Psychonauts 2 will feature a new hub world inside Psychonauts HQ. You’ll access new mental worlds as Raz peeks inside the minds of a host of new characters who need his help to combat their inner demons and unravel their deep-seated emotional issues. Raz will hone his secret agent PSI-abilities—and learn new ones too—using them to solve mysteries and uncover evil plots.”
