Xbox 360 vs. Playsation 3

yeah man go in & don't leave till they do ... They have no choice in this really ... Maybe bring some back up with ya as well get you're dad or a couple friends who have better experience with fighting back with these jerks.

well, that's provided he bought it from some kind of a big name store, if yhe bought it from an independent store they're not necessarily under any obligations, same with a pawn shop.

Well I think he said earlyer he did not have the cash for the extended warinty so it sounds like a big name place. ... & yeah generally you get like 30-90 days on stuff like this ..

I personally like the Xbox better. I thought at first that they were just gonna make crappy shooters for the system, but it actually pulled through really well. :3 I like my Xbox~ <3

where did you buy it from? If it's from a mainstream shop like bestbuy, gamestop/eb or gamecrazy they have to take it back (provided you have whatever paperwork they gave you at the time

I got it from Toys R Us since the other places were out of stock. I spoke to them about it for the third time and I finally got my money back.

Would you mind specifying what exactly is wrong with your console? Is it just not turning on?

It wouldn't turn on, they said it crashed due to overheating even if I wasn't playing it.

What made you go with the 360 and did this scare you away from getting another?

Extended warranty or not, Microsoft has like... a three year replacement warranty for the machines now. And as of now, it's suppose to be rare to find the last generation broke ass 360's.

That could quiet possibly be the problem. Still, it doesn't make much sense though, because in order for your 360 to overheat, you would have to leave it on for a very long period of time. Honestly, I want to say it's the power cable, but I'm not definite. If Toys R Us is not cooperating, then your best bet is to call Microsoft. Beware though, their technical service is pretty bad. About 60% of the time their tech agents are incoherent.
