Worst Toku of new generation

re:

All sentai after Gingaman are god awful. Not to say that everything before is great - but Time Ranger on up are just ****. Toho has amazingly knocked Toei out of th box when it comes to superior hero programs:O_O: !

I never bother to watch Agito, Kuuga, or Ryuki (or at least the little I watched wasn't worth watching more of). Sadly the KR shows after these are even worse. Kabuto probably the most garbage of the lot. My main problem with many of the Kamen Rider shows is that they just seem to be using the name - not at all like the superior KR shows of old. See GARO for what a real KR inspired series should be like.

How can you say that all those seasons are garbage when you haven't seen them all? Agito especially, that is likely one of the genre's best entries ever. Just because stuff like Kabuto is bad doesn't mean that all of the heisei shows are bad.

So, from what I'm seeing here, you hate ANY AND ALL Tokusatsu done in the new millenium?
Now how does that make sense?

Well, that's the vibe he's giving off to me. All of these shows were done in the 2000s, so from what I'm seeing here is 2000 Decade = Crap Decade for Tokusatsu.

Am I wrong? (Rhetorical question; don't answer that)

Uhhh what? Suddenly I'm the controversy guy. Weird.

There's been a ton of toku since the 99-2000 season. One of my favorite series of all time was done in the New Millenium. Ever hear of Kamen Rider Kuuga much? TimeRanger? Agito perhaps? Then there's a little funky joint called Ultraman Nexus which I also liked.

GranSazer, Garo, ..a lot of New Millenium shows I found enjoyment from despite whatever problems I had with concept or the writing. Blade is a good example of this. DekaRanger is another. There's also stuff about Faiz I really liked which just made how it was ultimately executed that much more annoying. I dug Paradise Lost though. Gotta love a movie that takes care of Kusaka quickly in the early going.

In a way, I have to agree with Ryoutarou on this one. Although Seijuu Sentai Gingaman was a little too sugary, but GoGoV and Timeranger did manage to get some support based on the genre, characters and storyline. Abaranger and Magiranger were two of the most likeable shows to some people. Dekaranger however, may have been a little silly but should have been more like Winspector, but still it was alright. Just like Ryoutarou said, not all of the Heisei shows were bad, only some had a few errors that needed to be fixed, but everything else was A-Okay on my book.

Kamen Rider: 555 and Kabuto

Super Sentai: Magiranger I guess. (Not really sure. Haven't seen many series.)

Ultraman: Ultraseven-X

Others: Justiriser (First half was decent ... then it went downhill)
