Why was SPD out of continuity?

Did I spell continuity right? Well as long as you got the point and blah blah blah.

Now I keep hearing that SPD is out of continuity? Why was that? I don't understand so someone explain. I don't give a rat's ass about the Sentai footage/storylines or the useless episodes. Just give it to me strait.

SPD wasn't out of continuity. They had the DinoThunder team up episodes as well as Jack acknowledging about reading of the Legendary Tommy Oliver.

It wasn't out of continuity per se. However, some of it seemed to conflict with continuity, like Wormhole.

It all being fiction, I haven't seen anything that can't have been explained through a little imagination.

What in Wormhole is in conflict?

The only thing I can think of is that Tommy and Zeltrax weren't mind-wiped at the end. Now you can easily fanfic away Tommy never mentioning it (e.g. when he realised that the other rangers didn't remember, he assumed that it was for a good reason and decided to keep his mouth shut) but Zeltrax never mentioning it is a little less believable (especially considering how much whining he did) is less believable.

Special Force Time Ranger was sent back later in a black ops operation that Mind Sniped Zeltrax at another time.

As a season, its' own continuity was god-awful, as far as long term PR continuity goes, it served it as well as other one season shows have, give or take a few stupid in jokes with the props.
