Will alternating production teams between Rider and Sentai hurt KR's new continuity?

Why "clearly" Sentai?

Kamen Rider last year made twice as much money as Sentai. This year, OOO in 6 months already beat Gokaiger's projected sales for the full year. And Rider has been consistently beating Sentai significantly in sales ever since Decade.

Hmm. Any guess as to why that is? Where do you get all your data from anyway?

Bandai financial reports.

Rider's sudden boost probably came from the change of focus of the merchandising - with bigger emphasis on collectibles: Ganbaride Cards, Gaia Memories, Medals and now Switches, and featuring products like games and those collectibles based on every Rider series at once, rather than just the current show, like it used to be done.

Watching Kamen Rider these days, that's very, very easy to understand. The franchise is as much toy-driven as Sentai now. I mean, things like Agito and Fourze barely look like the same franchise...the change of focus is too blatant to ignore. And Kamen Rider is more popular than Sentai in Japan, of course it sells more.
Although this gives the false impression that Sentai sales dropped, which is not true. It's doing the same as usual, actually better if we compare to the 90's. It's pretty stupid to think Toei would have any reason to drop it.

I've noticed that Rider have been better not to force the toys in.

W's gadgets served a purpose to the story.
The Candroids were a bit hairy on this element but sort of had some involvement.
The Foodroids(?) seems to serve some purpose (Burger Meals used to track things), the others not so much at the current time.

Sentai's toys are mostly just Mecha addons as far as I've seen, where Rider also have the constant stream of small collectables (As mentioned above, Gaia Memories, Core Medals and Switches and then there's the Ganbaride)

Tsukada and his team manage to integrate the toys pretty well. No matter how tacky the Foodroids are, they still feel more useful than the Candroids did at this point.
