Why don't you work out? And if you do, good for you.

The Gym is expensive, and the free one at the school sucks I rarely use it.

How expensive? Pretty much every gym is at a reasonable price. And whats wrong with the one at your school? Does it have equipment that doesn't break? Then its good enough. No equipment? Then work out without equipment. Running, squatz, get to it.

DDR is a great entertaining way to lose weight in my opinion but it ain't gonna build you muscle.

I'm lazy. :v

At least you're honest.

I used to work out like a machine. I did cardio five or six days a week and circuit training three days a week. I kept a strict ass diet too and ran a 5 or 10k race probably once every two weeks.

Now? I really haven't done much of anything in months since I've been working full-time. I've been eating pretty much whatever and the most working out I've done lately is walking around. I've went from like 137 to 150 since coming to a full halt. I doubt I could run a mile now. -_-;;

Haven't posted in a while. For me it was just other stuff getting in the way. In high school I worked out all the time but also took a lot of walking from school and to bus stops. From college, I was put down from increased studying (their gym is crowded and tiny) and currently am working on somethign that takes up time. I've gained and wish to go back in full force soon.

That kept me through college. There's an arcade near my school and just went there after classes, get two tries per day for free. I leave in a sweat and it became harder after gaining weight. I go there from time to time now.

-It's wet outside
-It's still ballz freezing outside
-There's still no sun light during the day (which just does wonders for my depression)
-I'm poor as Hell

"But Cero, why don't you work out @ home?"

I would if I didn't have ass loads of ADD going up against my OCD... that & school >:(

I'll repost a TL;DR that I wrote up a little while ago regarding my weight:

[hide]I've started doing p90X for the past week and (missed a day today but will continue doing it in the mornings of this week, too and onward cept sundays) but I don't know how else I can boost my metabolism.. I want to drop 8lbs in the next month and a half (which I think is reasonable) but the problem is my schedule is really bad..

I am sitting all day to get my animated film done so I always end up also working long periods of time because I get so involved in my work, and I end up only eating two meals a day (sometimes three if I'm really hungry before bed) and I'm finding it hard to get off of coffee. (I only drink a medium cup a day but caffeine isn't good for my skin and it makes me dehydrated.. )
but I feel like going down to grab a coffee is like the only break I really have.. so what are some good (healthy) alternatives to keep me awake and are not caffinated? (besides tea, though.. I strongly dislike tea)

Oh and the rundown: I'm about 108lbs. I'm 4'11" so I'm at a healthy weight. I want to get down to about 95 (which is still a healthy weight for my height)
My basic caloric intake to maintain my weight should be about 1300 calories with the sedentary lifestyle I have going because of this major final project in school.
I feel like I eat from 800-1400 pretty much all the time, with the most common being probably eating 1100 calories a day.

>_> Problem is.. eating 1100 calories a day should probably get me to drop weight slowly, right? Nope. I've been at around 106-108 for a while..
But.. I think my basal metabolic rate has dropped.. and I have no idea how to raise it up so I could have the option of eating more.
I sure as hell am not wanting to eat like an anorexic (I love my food) but I don't know what to do when my schedule (minus the P90X in the mornings which is 9-10) is typically:

Get to the studio (10 minute walk from my dorm), Sit from 11AM till 2PM, eat something, sit again from 2:30PM until 7PM, eat something, sit more from 7:30PM until 1AM, come home, MAYBE eat, wind down (1 hour), sleep.

or
Get to the studio, eat, sit from 12PM till 5PM, grab coffee, sit from 5:15PM till 11PM, go home, eat, wind down (1 hour), sleep.

It's bad but I don't know what to do. I NEED to be pulling like 12-hour work days to get this done.. but I DON'T want this to ruin my health! But I'd like to drop some weight :/

Help! What are some healthy snacks I can keep at my desk that don't need a fridge?

The school sucks and everything besides the coffee place closes at 4PM (and all the coffe place has are sugar-loaded muffins/ donughts/ fatty sandwiches to eat), sometimes I don't have time to spend an hour going to my dorm.
I generally try to eat well, sometimes I'll have a small piece of chocolate (like 1 hershey's kiss) every few days or so but I think that's harmless.. I don't drink pop..
:C Why am I not skinny? *CRY*

The P90X is like the only good thing I have going for me right now.. but it's also just so hard to force myself to go to the school gym and do it in the mornings because I am just so tired from my working schedule being like this..

I just need to make sure to introduce more good things..

I'm sorry for the long post but I figured it'd best be detailed than not..

:C I hope someone can help recommend stuff to me to help me out!!

Edit: Also I don't drink alcohol.

Also for anyone who's going to say "you're light! you don't need to lose anything" I'm just going to let you know that my BMI is actually in the middle of the "average" (108 lbs is 49KG)
bmi-calculator-chart.gif

and I'd like to lose 10 lbs which would still make me healthy.[/hide]

I remember being able to work out with some regularity when I had a gym membership. But on my own time its rare. I do make it a point to watch what i eat and get out and walk a couple miles a week. Thanks to that over a year i've managed to drop close to 30 pounds. It's gonna take some real life effort however to get me under 200 lbs for more than a day or two :P

For the most part, I'm quite happy with how I look build wise. Sure, I could actually use a few more pounds to achieve nominal weight, but my metabolism is so freaking out of control that I can tear through McDonald's and not gain a single pound. No joke.

I need substance to my body for burning and muscle building, something my body can't hold on for very long.
